Massage Parlors

And many massage therapists ONLY DO MASSAGE.

The OP wrote a reasonable post.  If someone posts as a massage therapist with no mention of sensual, one should assume it is only a therapeutic massage.  Really quite simple, and amazing that some guys just don't get it.

... and who choose to visit a masseuse without the benefit of credible reviews or any other evidence from a reliable source that the masseuse does in fact provide sensual massages:

If it turns out that the masseuse gives only therapeutic massage with no "extras", enjoy the massage, be courteous, and pay what you owe her.  If it was an exceptional massage, you may want to add a tip.

What NOT to do when you discover there will be no "extras":

* Assume that the therapist's friendly demeanor, attractive appearance, and her massaging your glutes, thighs, chest, abs etc. are sure signs that she wants to have sex with you.
* Complain, get upset, berate the therapist, and in general act like a jerk.
* Make verbal or physical advances on the therapist, hoping that she'll respond to your studliness and give you what you came for.
* Get up before the massage is over, get dressed, and leave... without paying.

Some hints that you are going to receive only a therapeutic massage:

* The therapist asks you to complete an intake form before the massage, where you can note any medical issues and highlight areas that need special attention.
* The therapist is dressed modestly.  However, even if the therapist is wearing more revealing clothing, e.g. shorts and a tank top, don't jump to conclusions.  It could be because the massage room is warm.
* When the therapist asks you to disrobe and lie on the table, there's a towel/blanket/sheet on the table to be used as a drape.  And the therapist doesn't ask you if you prefer draped or un-draped.
* The therapist is careful to keep your private areas covered at all times.  She may or may not uncover your glutes to massage them.  If she uncovers them, don't jump to conclusions.
* There is no touching of your genitals nor any brushing of her body on yours beyond accidental/incidental contact.

At this point (likely well before this point), you may be wondering WTF is this all about and why bother with such a post?  It's because in recent weeks I've had multiple massage therapists tell me horror stories about men behaving in the ways I described above.  Not only did this behavior upset them, but some lost income (i.e. the guys who left without paying).

There simply no excuse for this kind of thing.  If you need a new FBSM provider, do your research and find a well-reviewed provider.  And if you want to TOFTT for FBSM, go in with no expectations and be a gentleman, and if it turns out to be "just a massage"--close your eyes, breathe deeply, and enjoy it!  And try someone else next time.

We now return to our regularly scheduled program.

Are you speaking from your personal experience where, you though it was a sensual massage and turned out to be therapeutic?

Did you misbehave and get your ass kicked by the bouncer?

but you do have a point (for a change)

Since when was the OP elected protector therapeutic massage providers?

This is yet another OP by a mangina that just screams "Look at me!!! Look at me!!!"

I suppose he's going to make yet another post imploring guys to wash their ass before showing up for an appointment next. sheesh, we get it. You want the ladies to know what a sensitive gentleman you are, but can't you do it in a less "sucking up" manner?

Mr badenpowell has appointed himself one of the PC watchdogs on TER.  He has been posting his sterling defense of all things mangina over on the MN board and looking down his nose at anyone who might not meet his posting standards.  That's not enough though, he is going to try to indoctrinate the rest of us on the GD board.

And you know when she and Tidwit are your "bests" you are one Major Mangina.  I wonder what scoed would think of him?

Unfortunately those moronic threads seem to have a way of backfiring  LOL

Do you think that these dudes read reviews of their favorites and cringe when those gals do shit with others that they won't do with these dudes?  Nah...they figure all that is just made up and their favorites would never "cheat on them"  ;)

Maybe Rod knows?

Or else our moron might give you some extras after a massage. ROFL

Based on your other posts, you have absolutely no sense of humor.

But I WAS speaking from personal experience, i.e. hearing the horror stories from massage therapists.  Whom I went to see for therapeutic massages.  Sometimes, that's all I'm looking for--a really great deep tissue massage.

Did you try something yourself? Or are you just nosy and you asked? I can't imagine all these therapists freely volunteering this info to their clients for no reason.

... and it's interesting how you and others assume bad behavior with these therapists when you know nothing about the situation.  It seems to be a common occurrence in this board, however--jump all over the OP because they tried to be helpful to others... sling the usual names, assume they had some nefarious motive for their actions and post, etc etc.

But in reality, I've seen the therapists who confided in me several times and I believe they think I'm a gentleman and trust me.  And we've had some nice chats during our sessions. During some of these chats, they brought up the problems they've had with some clients looking for more than a therapeutic massage. I never probed or asked them about it; they volunteered the information. And I gave them some advice re how to avoid this kind of thing in the future.

If you can't imagine someone trusting you to the point of sharing experiences like this, maybe you should take a kinder, less judgmental and less negative approach with how you communicate with others.

I was in the Palm Beach area some years ago and found a massage ad in the Yellow Pages (pre-internet era)

The gal was a middle age type MILF type, and very friendly.  I couldn't quite pick up the vibes, so I just asked politely after the "flip" if she did any extras for generous gentlemen. I was just hoping for a HE.   She said she used to, but LE was bearing down on them so she gave that up as it wasn't worth the hassle.

I thanked her for her candor and told her I was enjoying the massage in any case.  She was giving a real good massage.

About five minutes later she said "What the hell", and invited me into her bedroom for an extra $$.

A grand time was had by all.

Unless they hear otherwise, and we all know YMMV.

The licensed massage therapist and my path have never crossed. She doesn't advertise in the places I look and I don't look in the places she advertises. Now, if she does advertise in the FBSM or Body Rub arena, then shame on her, even if she clearly states she only offers therapeutic massages. She is going to get some of the shit the OP describes and I, for one, think she deserves it. She should know the crowd she's soliciting.

that I've gone into a massage parlor, or had a outcall, and expected at least a happy ending, but came away with disappointment. No problem! I just don't visit that MP, or see that outcall provider again.

+1000 thank you so much. There are some men who just get it.

Thanks !
I keep my careers very separate so the two never cross paths however, I've had it happen at the chiropractic clinic I work at sometimes, I've only recognized 4 hobbyists thus far .

Not so much annoying as it's just insane because in my area it's like everyone just woke up one day and thought to themselves "I'll do massage!" And they go out there with little to zero training which could HURT SOMEONE.
For someone like me who's not looking for a happy ending and not wanting to spend $200 at a day spa, it's growing tougher and tougher to find one .
So, no one can tell who's who anymore.

They have no choice but to try as many as possible, to some guys it's a quest like looking for the holy grail lol
Xo- V

if you see (incall or outcall) a LMT/CMT, the chance of getting a Happy Ending is very slim (at least on the 1st visit). So, it is better to let the therapist make the advances. If she does, there's a better chance.

However, to improve your chances of a Happy Ending (be it HJ, CBJ, BBBJ or FS), go to either a regular MP or AMP. Though it has been my experience that the MPs are more expensive than the AMPs, but the service is all over the place for both.

At the regular MPs, I have gotten a Happy Ending every time (15x with 8 different gals) that I have went. The massage ranges from Average (usually) to Above Average (2x). FS is usually not on the menu, or is too f'n expensive. However, body 2 body, dry-humping and Russian (safer IMHO) can be had for a reasonable price. Have yet to find a BBBJ (though I have had the family jewels polished a few times). The majority of my Happy Endings have been via a HJ. But, I have had a few Russian (Pearl Necklace) endings, which I enjoy.

Now, the AMPs are a different story. usually offer FS (usually everything is covered, but a BBBJ is possible on the 1st visit depending on the girl and your $ availability). However, sometimes the gal is not worth the extra $ for anything more than a HJ (and once or twice not even that; but I was there, so I figured why not). Have paid as little as $60 to $200 for a BBBJ (FS may or may not be included, depending on my mood). Only once have I ever visited an AMP and leave w/o a Happy Ending. However, there are a few places where I have walked out w/o paying the door fee (either trashy looking or the therapist was a complete turn off).

Check my review of Jenny (from 2008 :( ). I nearly cried when she left after only 3 weeks.

My most recent visit to a Glendale AMP was quite nice. The therapist (a Chinese gal, which is unusual) took my hand and "accidentally" brushed the back of her hand against the front of my pants.  Then, in the room while she was in a tight dress and bending over straight legged, we "accidentally" brushed up against each other and she started to grind against me. Even though everything was covered, it was a very nice time.

I will post a review. But, sometimes they get approved and sometimes they don't. So..
