Why would one presume this review was fake?

If you are referring to the following most recent review:

Where you received a score of 4 (looks) and 5 (performance), I would not for one second think that review was fake. It was well written and stated quite frankly how that particular gentleman thought of your service. As a seasoned hobbyist, I would certainly not have read that review and immediately felt it was fake. To the contrary I assumed it was real and legit. Unless, there is something specific about the review you can point to (i.e. you NEVER use a standard two call system, or you have NEVER traveled to the DC area, etc.)I don’t think anyone reading it would presume it wasn’t real.

If you are bothered by the low numbers, most hobbyists will look at the totality of the reviews and will throw out one low score. But it would be unfair to automatically assume that a review is fake because the scores were low.

HiI was wondering where you post when you get a fake review..I just apparently got one .why do men lie to get a free memberhip.i think the ladys should have a place to defend their selves.i am trying to get use to this bord here.
thanks foxey

(1) Send an e-mail to [email protected] and make your case for why you think the review in question is fake. They might mot believe you, so make a convincing case with details.
I would be remiss if I didn't warn you not to get to combative with Admin. If they don't believe you, move on, it's not worth getting banned over.

(2) If (1) fails, post on your local board about the fake review. Be prepared for the reviewer to possibly challenge you on the board. If you're convinced the review is definitely fake, you have the truth on your side and should prevail.

Yeah, they're low, but not insanely so compared to the others.  Looks of 4 compared to an average of 5.66.  Performance of 5 compared to an average of 6.66.  Granted, there aren't a lot, so numbers can get weird but I wouldn't classify them as dramatically different from the others.

To be fair, I didn't read the review in question.

If it's your latest review, I read it and it looks accurate from the perspective of the reviewer.  If you check out his history, he's not known for giving really high numbers anyway.

The review was well articulated and had a lot of details that wouldn't make me think it was a fake to get a free membership.

JMHO

It wasn't a fake review, I did see you and you did have an odor about you. If you don't like bad reviews, take a bath.
