I am a long time hobbyist who has only seen one provider over the last few years. (check out my TER reviews) This lady have retired and I am trying to see some new ladies. I no longer have any references and understandably most provers now require a reference.
Any thoughts on how I can get into the scene?
Or find a lady who's newbie-friendly and willing to be a reference after that.

Yes, I see those - but newbie-friendly providers have methods of screening that do not necessarily require references, which appears to be the issue at hand.

& request an appointment. You've reviewed her, she is listed under your reviews, and she can re-vouch for you.
Take your time to help write something that may jog her memory, & you may need to text her a few pictures of yourself.
Otherwise, I accept Gov't issued ID, not sure about other ladies & lasses.

You have reviewed them in the past, so I would start there and that should give you a couple of references to get you started.
