I've read with interest many of the posts here about getting initiated into the LA K-girl circuit.  I am left with the impression that it's a chicken-and-egg kinda thing.  I have seen some K-girls in NYC and am wondering if they would work as references for the LA market.

I have an upcoming trip to NYC, so I would be interested in knowing if there are any particular agencies in NYC - ones that would make for a usable reference in LA - that I should call on.
