Just remember what happened within a year of the last right-wing administration taking power, terrorists flew passenger jets into buildings and killed more than three thousand Americans.

NYC bombings remind us that dealing with terrorist attacks or worrying about the threat has become a way of life for people all over the globe.

Where have we fallen short? Are we employing wrong strategies? Something different that America needs to do?

Is the solution as simple as picking Tramp as the POTUS?

his pussiness, and incompetence have brought the animals are closer to our door - he has made ALL of us less safe and permanently fucked up Europe

he can't even call it what it is, radical islam

even another 9/11 won't convince them there is a problem

Hillary won't help either, even IF she were healthy enough to be POTUS

Grandma needs her soft food and fall-proof room - I see a helmet and padded room in her near future

Trump is all that's left

...Trump was behind in the polls.  Now that the polls have turned, so has the worm.

Sure, it's possible to limit entry of people from countries which are breeding grounds for terrorists and countries which are known or suspected to support terrorism. After all, this is our land and we choose who enters our land. Now, we are getting many good people and a few bad people. Many worry that if we implement Trump's rhetoric (his stances change daily and even hourly!), mostly the unwanted people will get in because they try harder than the good people to get in and cause harm to us.

shipping the bombers father, mother, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc back to where they came from...today.  Knowing that the actions of ones dime witted son might get your entire family shipped the fuck out might give them some incentive to pay attention.  As things stand,  the family is still cooking their chicken.....in Pressure Cookers.

Not possible to deport US citizens, unless they are citizens of another country also (dual nationality status) and the other country is willing to accept the deportation. A few countries allow dual-nationality; most don't, meaning they have to surrender their previous nationality (passport) once they become naturalized US citizens. After all, if they do not belong to another country, where can we send them? Remember that movie in which Tom Hanks is stuck in a foreign airport without belonging to a country?

Of course, we can send troublesome people if they are living on temporary visas or even the ones with green cards, but not their family members unless they are also proven to be involved in criminal acts. If their family members are US citizens, we cannot deport them. We can put them in jail if convicted of a crime, but deportation is not feasible.

Where would you deport a US citizen born in the US?

You don't become and act like your enemies.
Then they win.

but I also have to agree with BB that implementing it, even with a change of law would not only be problematic, but downright impossible.

Just where are we going to ship a US citizen who's only "crime" is to be related to a terrorist? Detroit??? lol

If Malaria was convicted for prostitution prior to her becoming a citizen, and either she acknowledged this felony, or it showed up during background check, she would have been denied citizenship. But, now that she is a citizen, if she is caught engaging in prostitution, she will receive appropriate punishment, but deportation to Slovenia or Slovakia is not possible.
