Due to my hazy eye-sight, I often, when reading headlines with the word deplorables, often, initially see deportables. I'm wondering if Hillary was trying to be too smart for her own good, when choosing that word. Sort of a play on similarly sounding words. Nuance is not her friend when arguing her case against Trump, because, it seems, a great many of the electorate have ADD. He quickly made her 50% of Trumps deplorables, 100% of his backers, and it backfired in her face, majorly. My question is, do you think she may have been trying a play on words, intentionally?
I think she knows how to communicate to her base, and that's it.
