Two-bit pimps, madams and agencies abound on craigslist, and very often their spelling, grammer and proof reading skills are less than the computer shy providers they are posting the ads for.

A couple of tips if you're so inclined.

1. Copy/paste a CL advertiser's phone # in the search field atop the CL page and click search.
Often several different girls will be listed under that phone # indicating an agency of sorts.

2. If/when you get your TER VIP you can set up your "right click" menue with a TER search feature that enables you to highlight the phone # then click on the TER search feature which will inform you of any TER reviews if the respective provider has any.

STOP THINKING WITH YOUR LITTLE HEAD!!

I apologize for shouting; but I’m seeing WAY too many posts where you Newbs are mesmerized by a gals pic and you’re essentially looking for vindication to try a non or barely reviewed gal with a possible host of other red flags when compared to the staid and accountable favorites to be found in TER’s vast library of reviews.

Until you have honed your senses and perfected your game stick to the metered crosswalks where there is safety in both numbers and design. Otherwise it is a sure bet you’ll find yourself under the wheels of a bus.

I agree and being a newbie myself - I was taken in by pics and all the drama -  until I read reviews and found out the numerous mistakes I might not have avoided if not for TER! We continue to have this discussion about CraigLists as well - and while everyone gives great advice - people still go back to this topic and this site! Give it up! Find a lady on TER - read the reviews and ENJOY! I did! And as I newbie I told a lady tonight that this is totally out of my character - but she said - you're having fun! So I agree with RRO2610 - stick to the site - do the research and don't look anywhere else - that is unless you are on an isolated island - well - that can get sticky!

Links abound in this section for all sorts of great information.  Scrolling or searching this board alone provides plenty of information for making good decisions, yet the same questions keep coming up.

Who knows?  Maybe they just don't want to pay for the VIP membership, but even lacking that, there's a lot of good info to be found.

Craigslist is NOT entirely bad. I have had several very good experiences from CL, and so have many other EXPERIENCED hobbyists; but it is no place for a Newbie.

I specifically refrained from mentioning CL or any other escort mall / website in my original post. ROBs, LE, Bait & Switch and Flakes can be found advertising most anywhere, as well as undiscovered gems. At TER you have a system of accountability and credibility that is continually vindicated (good or bad) with every listed review of the particular provider.

What I have found out is that some ladieswho post on craig lists also post on the escort board or Eros - at least they have multiple postings and not just one isolated posting! So to your point - yes it may not be all that bad - but as you say - do your homework!

Personally, I've never used it so I absolutely defer to your experience.  Some who post there have been pretty well reviewed here.  I do think it's sort of the "wild west" for clients though, so You definitely need to know what you're doing.  .

Just out of curiosity, have you had any negative experiences from CL?

I started my hobbying career in 1977; so by time Craigslist came along I was already a seasoned gun fighter with a "thousand yard stare".
My CL "disappointment’s" have been more a case of naivety or "Flaking" on the part of a newbie provider rather than my overlooking of a subtle but perceivable peril.

I also noticed that quite a few posts in places like CL are being made by the same person/people. You can see it in the wording.

When referring to their hair color it said "I have black."(leaving out the word hair), then in a different post the same mistake was made, but with a different color "I have brown.". It looks like a template post, with a few key words to cycle.

Sorry to over analyze, or pick on CL, but im sure it happens everywhere.
