I just returned from Europe and

they showed a lot of the equestrian stuff over there! It was wonderful- I could watch that all day. I also loved the gymnastics. How about the amazing little Gabby Douglas??? Thrilling!! Here are her trials: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mqj4kGXTQW8

I disagree regarding the diving- it takes my breath away each time. I always think they are going to smash their heads or toes on the platform! and the synchronized dives are twice as breathtaking. Boxing, on the other hand, bores me. Not into violence.

The bike racing is great too. I watched the whole first men's long distance race (obviously as they showed it- over the 5 hours or whatever it was), and was impressed that virtually the entire way through, there were crowds at least two deep along the roads. I was pleased so many people showed up in support. And I was also pleased that Wiggins finally won a gold! Apparently he really plowed thru some alcohol afterwards, but I imagine he's been without a drink for months as he's trained for this. He deserves to let loose a bit.

Swimming and rowing... not so exciting for me to watch. Badminton- I love to play the game, but agree it might be a bit boring to watch. Like table tennis... or watching grass grow. I mean golf. lol!

The kayaking was pretty awesome!

Over all, what fun!!

Now this is just me and you may disagree.

If diving wasn't boring enough now we have sync diving which is twice as boring.

It is nice to know that Olympic boxing is rigged just like the real world boxing. Good training for the real world for those guys.

How did they figure out they were throwing the badminton matches. Nobody watched the matches except their Mothers.

But here again it's just me.

My favorite non Track and Field events are:

1. Equestrian (which they don't show much of)
2. Gymnastic
3. Rowing
4. Bike racing
5. Swimming
