i always tip for PV. The questions becomes how much? As has been described previously, you tend to get better results if you invest in one or two PV providers that you 'click' with. I tend to tip the ones that I see with some regularity well. IN my experience, it pays dividends in the long run. I should caveat this by saying that I don't do PV over FS simply as a way to save money.
I've not experienced PV, but I was reading a review of a PV experience and it struck me that the guy expressed remorse because he "forgot" to tip. He implied that tipping is customary and perhaps expected when the lady does a good job. Is this a common thing; do folks tip for good PV service like they do for good service at a sit-down restaurant? I hardly ever tip FS providers and I've never had a FS provider indicate that a tip was expected. Is PV different, perhaps because it costs less?
where basic activities are limited, additional activities are rewarded with a tip. for agency activities, tips are something not needed to be split with the house.
