The invitation procedure to meet and greets is usually covered when they are announced on the M&G board, or the regional board where they occur.

The out of town gals that attend M&G's usually are touring that city, and already have appointments set up to offset their costs but at the event, everyone is a free agent.

Given that these events are advertising opportunities for the ladies, don't be surprised if the gals are asked to share in the costs of event (securing the location, paying for drinks and food, and in some cases security, etc.).

For security concerns, some M&G's are strictly private.  No one without reviews, a reference, or who is unknown on the local board (and I don't just mean TER), will ever be invited.  In some places the security concern has led M&G's not to advertised at all.

As for a M&G in Austin, that is up to you and the other members of TER.  TER does not organize these event, but is happy to publicize them.

Advice to you: work on your web presence.  Get a website!  Advertise your availability on the Houston board (the closest to Austin).  If you tour to other markets , advertise there!!!  Take part in the banter and discussion on the General Discussion board.  That way if you request an invite to a M&G, the immediate answer will not be "who are you", and thus be ignored.

BTW - Meet and Greets generally are not great places for newbies (either hobbyist or provider)!!!  Focus on getting your self established first!!!

Best wishes,

jazz32
