Is there even one sliver of evidence

that Trump can be trusted to do one thing he says?  Could he have ever done one, solitary thing, that ever benefitted anyone other than himself?  Even under the guise of a charitable foundation, he finds countless angles where he, himself benefits!

For anyone else this would be simply unbelievable!  For Trump it is getting to simply be par for the course.

...the economy?  If asked, I'm sure he'll say he knows more about the economy than all the experts on Wall Street, same as he knows more about ISIS than the generals do.

On August 2, 2016, Trump said he "got out" of the stock market:

But others say he's still invested in the market:

Trump tells the average investor not to invest their 401(k)s in equities, but Forbes says: "For the love of God, don't take Donald Trump's advice on 401(k)s."

Would you take economic advice from Trump?  Is St. Croix sitting on the edge of his seat, waiting for Trump to drop a nugget of wisdom about the stock market?

The spell ain't that strong.

Remember, none of Trump's supporters hear anything from him that they haven't convinced themselves of long ago.
No pundit, no endorser, no evangelical preacher, no critic has ever called Trump a "teacher."
That word doesn't occur to anyone in relationship to the Bloated Bigot of Brooklyn.
He is seen by the cult as echoing what they've always felt in their little rotting hearts.
