What do you mean when you say you don't want to be reviewed because you want to be selective?

Guys already know their Mileage May Vary from what another experienced. You already have the power to select who you want to see... So I am confused by your statement. I am not knocking it, I am trying to understand it.

At this point in time, the last thing guys want to deal with is an unknown, of which you are if you have no reviews. There is nothing wrong with being in the Hobby and not having reviews, I did it for many years despite posting on the board (and have yet to ever advertise here). No knock on TER, I have just been around too long to really need to advertise. People just want to be safe, especially with what has been going on.

You do you at whatever level of comfort you want to. You do also accept the cause and effect of not wanting reviews. You can't advertise on TER if you have a "no review" policy, by the way.

It sucks for you but I hope you understand how you would feel if you were a guy ready to throw money down. He wants to know for sure if he will have a good time and that you are not LE.

"You take the good, you take the bad.... and then you have, the facts of life". Aw, now I have that song in my head! (I am an 80's baby obviously lol.

Why are guys afraid to meet with providers they have heard about... but aren't reviewed?
I personally do not like to be reviewed because I like to be selective. I've noticed guys that refuse with no reviews... I tend to ask for guys not to review.

I sucribe to TER primarily for the reviews.  Prior to TER I and countless other gents were subject to rip offs , disappointment and worst.

Would I book with a lady that had a board presence but no reviews? Probably not. It's not a matter of fear albeit we all should be cautious about these things. It's because I don't think any lady would appreciate booking inquiries that included a list of " do you " questions.  Do you kiss , recieve / provide oral " etc.  That's the kind of info provided in a review.  Also reviews can give a sense of a ladies persona. Intangibles that might give a sense of chemistry.

In some ways I think reviews provide some level of safety for a woman. Some jerks get pretty pissed off if they discover rules they had not anticipated or limited menus. Best they know these things before they make a decision to book. It also is a source of protection for the gents. Unless someone I know can vouch for a lady I have no way of knowing if she's legit. Hell , is she LE?

I get why some ladies don't like reviews. I really don't enjoy writing them.  But I remember the world before TER.  So I'm sticking with ladies with a history of positive reviews.

Couldn't have said it better.........
Seeing someone without reviews would be like trying to be an item of need but in a grab-bag format. You "might" get what you want or need but more than likely not, followed by great disappointment or despair. I say go with what you know and the Board provides the level of comfort that I seek.

Presumably other members find some reason to want to read reviews.

While I can't speak for anyone else - before I put my hard won (or ill gotten) benjamins in the envelope and then risk my freedom meeting a stranger - not to mention the hassle of scheduling a reasonable, mutually acceptable time to meet - as well as the joys of the two call scavenger hunt that I am going to have to go through for the privilege of walking through your door -  I find it comforting to know that someone else enjoyed their time with you.  Trust me-  I don't read reviews just to get my jollies... there is much better porn available....

Afraid isn't the issue- more a matter of whether you are worth the hassle.... that is what reviews are for.

They are definitely used by Leo as our 56 friends are learning.

You are very smart to discourage them at this point in time.

They can work against you too.

The key is to be very aggressive in your advertisement and outreach, while also preserving your elite imagery.

When you buy a vehicle, don't you want to read what others have said about it? There is a reason people read Cons**** Rep**** and listen to Cl*** How*** on the radio.

Good luck with your marketing approach.

The review board is the way a lot of us screen providers. I'm not sure how this is missed on you. If you screen clients, but have difficulty understanding why clients won't see you without reviews, then an explanation won't help you here. An explanation, in fact, would be a huge waste of time.

The first thing we do is to check the reviews. Then check to see if images are stolen, etc.  If we can't get a recommendation either via a review or the back channel it is a no go. Way too risky dealing with the unknown.

Today I found someone stealing pictures of a Atlanta model twitter pictures. I saved the ad to the stolen pictures file.

Why guys expect  to read 10+ reviews on a provider but will not contribute in writing  them

was word of mouth, or find one and keep her as your go to gal and share with buds.
Now information is expected to eliminate bad experience, waste of $$$ or Uncle Lee.

Do you pick your clients or do they pick you?  :0

I've been to 2 meet and greets so my appearance speak for itself. I just hate those intimate and special moments for the world to see. discretion is very important to me. again, thank you al for giving me insight.

maybe ill start requesting reviews... or maybe now. dunno....

I have been negligent in writing reviews lately, it can be a pain in the ass.

I will see ladies without reviews, but its special.  I need some form of referral to consider.  In agency world, if I trust the hostess, I will see new ladies without review if she indicates I will likely enjoy.  Certain trusted friends also will give recommendations (providers do this more than hobbies by the way)

It takes more than reviews though, the quality of the review matters.  There is one very cute lady on the board, I would love to see, but her 3 reviews bother me.  Only one feels real and I don't really have feel for his track record.  So I keep hesitating to make the call because it just doesn't feel right yet.

So while you are beautiful, I think it will be difficult to build a following.  I wish you the best, hopefully someone will vouch for you, but in this current environment it isn't prudent to toftt
