Agree; everyone expected Trump to "hit the wall" at some point...

...If it hasn't happened with all his slip-ups so far, then the last chance would be the debates.  But as H.L. Mencken said:  “No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."  Trump has become rich, politically speaking, because of all the morons who support him thinking he's an agent of change.

...While Hillary Clinton is studying thick briefing books of material she already knows, Trump is sitting around at a golf course with Rudy Giuliani, Laura Ingraham and Roger Ailes trying to come up with one-liners.  Trump has briefing books too, but he's not spending much time reading them and not holding mock debates.  Trump is  "proudly boasting that a performer with his talents does not need that sort of prepping."  There it is!  He thinks of himself as a "performer."  It's obvious he's not serious about being President - he's acting like one; he has no desire to put in the work necessary to be a president.

That strategy worked well for Trump in the Republican primary, but in a debate with Clinton, he'll be exposed just like in "The Emperor's New Clothes.

acting president; meaning Kasich would do all the work as president!  ;)

...but we all've been wrong about the effectiveness of Trump's performance before.
