I'm fairly certain this concept was covered in a thread recently...

Just so that he can keep getting his crazy message out.
Also him and Roger could build another network.
I would not be surprised at all.

And with a dick. I can see him commercializing on this "fake" brand of his. But after awhile, he'll fade off into the sunset as the fake that he his....but dam will he cash in.

And not "the right wing" as in "conservative" right wing with emphasis on free market and socially conservative issues. It will be more right wing as in "socialist" right wing which would likely borrow a lot, if not most from the left wing ideology.

Remember that the name of Nazi party in 1930-40s Germany stood for "national-socialist", and the "socialist" part came from the fact that economically it was still very much a "left wing" party. Not a Communist left wing as it was in Russia but rather what we now refer to as Eurosocialism. Structurally Germany hasn't changed much since 1930s.

I think Trump/Ailes's version of "right wing" TV will be more like that. Not in the sense of let's exterminate these or these people and let's conquer the world but purely semantically speaking it would promote nationalism together with more of a socialist economic policies, some of which every one of us would probably find ourselves in agreement with.

For example: unlike current American right wingers it would promote selective protectionism, something that both Trump and Bernie had in common. It would also not as vehemently oppose implementing Universal Health Care system as more traditional right wingers would do, and in fact may even come around to supporting it, which more or less fits with Trump's personal views before he decided to run for president.

It would also be mostly socially liberal but not in pro-actively, like our left wingers seem to be, but more in a libertarian sort of way: as in "As long as it doesn't impose on your neighbor's life why not."

In foreign policy I expect it to be very non-interventionist, at least officially. This is much easier said then done because once this or that situation arises you'd have to react and politicians could always rationalize intervention from the point of view of national interests/security.

But the main goal of the new Trump/Ailes' TV is still going to be in promoting vehement, screaming bumper sticker, nationalism (that's why they were called "NATIONAL-socialist") which would overwhelm any other discussions and scare many people from even considering anything else they'd propose.

Both liberals and conservatives would disavow Trump/Ailes' TV from their own angles.
