Why the GOP is in such current bad shape.
This has been brewing for 30 years; the party consists of two irreconcilable factions :
1. The" GOP elite", which consists of party members, "the donor class" & college educated Republicans. 2. The" alt.right-Breitbart-Limbaugh-Hannity populist wing", whose many followers aren't college educated. Needless to say, the factions despise each other. Obvious that Trump is the candidate of the 2nd faction. If he loses in a landslide, what happens to the 2nd faction ? A 3rd party, or they get their own cable channel, as stated in another post ? Stay tuned........beginning to devolve in front of our eyes. I suspect the Democrats are up next with a civil war between party elites and the left wing progressives, who supported Bernie Sanders.
