Barring a complete HRC meltdown, do you expect a vast majority of these voters to swing over to Trump, ensuring him the election ? If one goes by past elections, not gonna be the case, then again, citing a hoary cliche, "80 days is an eternity in Presidential politics."

The NC speech doesn't seem to be an attempt to salvage whatever possible from a disappointing outcome.

Changing one's staff this late in the game is referred to as a sign of a losing campaign. But that also has a feel of sending the B team off the bench and into the game for the last 2 minutes of an 80-55 high school basketball game.
