Is this still going to happen. I had heard that Sunny had a recent rough patch befall her , but I did not have details. Playing on a side of caution and trying to be respectful, I did not want to approach her. That just in case things were not well.
My respectful ask, has anyone heard any news about the 12th?

She said she wasn't sure yet bc of everything going on. I've tried getting ahold of her again to confirm the plan because last we spoke it was just a maybe but nothing had been decided. So I'm not really sure but I know after the accident she had she was still planning it when we spoke but because of news on Monday I think that could have changed things.
Moving it to January I believe!

Do you know the date in January or has that been set yet? I could make the 2nd but not any Monday after that. 
Of could I don't know all the details of the nature of the M&G. Or the circumstances But I've read the post concerning Sunny's misfortune . Many were inquiring as to ways to help. Including me. I've not met Sunny but we've exchanged a few emails over time and I know a class act when I see one....OK , maybe that should be " read one". And the various post about this lady affirm my intuition.
How about encouraging her to stick with the plans to host the M&G . Have your normal fun. But at the same time use the event as a " Sunny Appreciation Party ". Maybe some that know her best could organize some fund raising to assist her as she rebuilds . Perhaps some know of specific needs for gifts.
Seems like a good way to honor one of the good ones in our little hobby community. And to provide genuine assistance .

I did email her asking how to help as that was the instruction on the Atlanta board. I sent that email on Dec. 2. No reply. I posted in the thread on the Atlanta board asking where/how to help and have no reply there either.
Is there a better email address to use? I used the one posted here. I met Sunny at one of JimmyPW's M&Gs back last spring but haven't been to one since as I normally can't make Mondays. I can this time and would love to go if it happens, but mainly I want to help Sunny out
With hearing of Sunny's hard luck, and to help, I will change my Jan M&G to Feb 6. Announcements will be on the M&G board.
