Lemon's question about the optics of Trump bringing up African Americans about 2 dozen times in a, practically, all white crowd, in a, nearly, all white suburb of Milwaukee. The fact the she would answer the question, and Corey went on a weird tangential defense, just points to the fact that they have no understanding, or care about how Trump's message was received. Van Jones said it best, and succinctly when he said: "We (African Americans like to be talked to, not talked about!"
I didn't watch the whole thing but she acquitted herself fairly well. Not that I think it will matter. It all gives his campaign the appearance of foundering. And appearances matter.
