Richmond could get hit worse than DC actually.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BALTIMORE MD/WASHINGTON HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY EVENING THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING.
* PRECIPITATION TYPE... SNOW.
* ACCUMULATIONS... POTENTIAL FOR 5 OR MORE INCHES.
* TIMING... SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP MONDAY EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED MONDAY NIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY MORNING.
* WIND CHILL... 5 TO 10 BELOW ZERO TONIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING.

...forward to Tuesday for months...literally! Fingers crossed the NWS gets this one wrong!

6 inches of snow is NOT the 6 inches wanted in our community.

I'm seeing reports of 8" for my area... sadly, they don't mean in bed!

Do you really want to encourage clap in this community?

ecause you never really know how long it's gonna last or how many inches you're really gonna get.

Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

When this town gets one snowflake everyone freaks out
and rushes to the stores and buys all the friggin toilet paper and milk?

The last I looked in our 4 bathrooms there were about 20 rolls of Tp. And I'm sure my SO has a huge stash in some
pantry somewhere. I'm just thinking if I've got to shit through 20 rolls in two days I probably should be in a barn
or a zoo. I don't drink milk so I guess Im good.

Oh hell I think I need more beer , guess I better get my ass
to the store.

.....I find it perfect cuddle weather.

Why not make the most of it, and open a nice bottle of wine, light the fireplace, and snuggle in.  I am a few blocks from the Metro, and thankfully, I can still navigate the district quite easily should I need to venture out.

Should it snow, as predicted, keep in mind that if you are venturing out by taxi, or Uber, there will be a surcharge.  If parking in the district today, the meters are not enforced due to the holiday.

       Keep warm, and safe.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

go out to get to someone to cuddle with!
BTW, I know that the taxi commission (or whatever they're called) decides when to allow the storm surcharge, but how does that work with Uber?  Do they just ratchet up their charges once they know the surcharge is in effect?

Never too cold to be out in the snow!  I do not want to spend all day in 18 degree weather, but.....

Their is a 15.00 surcharge for taxi service, and Uber will tell you what theirs is, before you confirm your location.   It was 20.00 during the NCAA Championship game in Dallas this past January

Hugs and keep safe today,
Kelly.
