...if you have plans set with someone it's just good manners to let someone know you have to cancel.
Has she posted any updated ads anywhere (or on her site) at all mentioning she has to cancel her visit?

Question for the ladies, does the threat of heavy snow affect your decisions to travel. Had an appointment today with a traveling girl and thought I was set. Now I get no answers. I get the feeling that the snow expected tonight changed her travel plans.

Wash away someone's manners. She should still be in touch to say she can't make it. ;-)

It's easier to gauge the weather conditions and anticipate what can happen and being in the DMV, some areas are going to get it worse than others. I always consider this and luckily, have yet to cancel because of the weather. I couldn't see not traveling unless it was impossible because of flight cancelations. But I wouldn't put myself in danger trying to drive in bad conditions or have a gent come to me if it was really bad out. Best to be safe and wait until the next opportunity...

What's a bummer cancelation for this type of year is getting a cold/ flu... Stay hydrated, use hand sanitizer, and get your vitamins!!

Not only was my workplace closed on a day I was going to take off anyway, but the lady I have a date with (my favorite provider) has an AWD vehicle and a taste for adventure. We switched locations to my place and she will be on her way soon.

I am sure many flights were cancelled all along the East coast.
