Talk about the power of painting a picture with words. I do agree that athletic thigh high socks have a special appeal. These days, I'm more likely to dress like a dainty femme, but I do have a few pairs of sporty thigh highs in different colors with contrasting stripes on top. Besides being cute, they are super comfy and I'd love to try them out during a frolicsome and sweaty workout.
