That would be a no-go for me....

Based on lack of sample size, I discard reviews from hobbyists who only have one review. I put more emphasis on reviewers who I trust, or those who've seen at least 10 ladies. I am suspicious of ladies who have a boat load of 10/10's from reviewers with only one review.

I also do not TOFTT and like to see a minimum of 5 reviews for a lady, or at least one or two from well known hobbyists.

Having said that, I did hit the jackpot earlier this year with a lady who only had one review at the time I booked her and she rocked my world.

What does everyone else think of a New Provider who only has a single review from a New Hobbyist (or at least someone without any other TER reviews)?

As a hobbyist, are you thinking of seeing her in terms of TOFTT - since you have tens/dozens/scores/hundreds of reviews and dude has one?

As a provider, do you treat someone with a solitary review as a newbie? If so, as a follow-up, when does a reviewer lose his newbie status - in your opinion?

Me? I'm wary of both. I've been around long enough to have read too many reviews of too many providers who have 10/10 reviews from a boatload of guys - who have only reviewed her. She states on her website that "new clients need to provide 2 provider references" and/or she's "not newbie friendly", but there's a dozen first/only time reviewers. And all these guys can't be wrong, unless these providers are actually self-reviewing.

Granted, the provider in the thread below got her first review, a 7/7, from a guy who reads like he was writing his first review of anything. At this same time, it could be a deceptive self-review from someone who actually read the TER rule on scoring and was writing her own first review.

"Noobs will be noobs" (I know is Newbs, but this is TER where Boobs Rule!)

Have a great day,

....  a provider with one review and limited exposure would probably not be someone I would seek a reference from and if I did the reference would not get a lot of points in my vetting process.  A hobbyist with one review is a newbie to me especially if his only review is the aforementioned newbie provider with only his or any other one review.  I do not receive a lot of reviews ( oh well) because the majority of those I have met are not reviewers though they have numerous references from Providers that myself and many others hold in high esteem, so reviews and the number thereof are not always important to me personally.......suzee

I was thinking to myself how fortunate we are in Atlanta to have so many wonderful ladies who are well known, and absolutely fabulous!  The review I read seems on-the-level to me, and the description of the girl seems totally plausible. I wish her well; but I have no desire to see her.

It would be the same as one with no reviews to me. Unfortunate, if she is just trying to get in the business, but I just usually do not TOFTT. Bottom line I am not sure any of it is legit so I stay away.

Hey, we don't get new providers unless we give new providers a chance.

Consider the possibility that with a little work, you can fairly easily determine the legitimacy of a new provider and set up a safe rendezvous!

Yes, reviews are important - but only one piece of the puzzle. Not to mention, TER is just one of many review boards.

I always start at TER, and check other boards as well. I'll PM reviewers (even first-time reviewers) to gauge THEIR authenticity. Obviously, pics get googled along with names, phone numbers, etc...

I will call the provider. Often, a noob provider will know another well-known provider who will vouch for them.

Kill any LE worries by scheduling an outcall to meet at a restaurant or bar in public, and then whisk her back to your hotel. LE doesn't go for that, as they like to control the environment and cannot in public and with an unknown location move.

If we're not lazy and relying solely on TER reviews, our world opens up a little bit and we are able to SAFELY and confidently find that diamond in the rough and help her to get a break in the business.

Just my 0.02 cents.
