It was an online ad. Couple things a cop told me about stings.
1. Most stings are almost always done in hotels, and not the run-down ones. That's why I prefer outcalls to people's homes. I actually feel safer.
2. It doesn't matter if you ask if the person's a cop, the cop can lie.
3. Recognizing real providers, doing your research, and spotting fake ads/ shaky girls is your best tool to being safe. I can spot a fake ad a mile away!

Remember that prostitution laws are done for political reasons. It is done to give the impression that the police are doing something about crime. It is also done to go after political opponents. I saw a youtube video that this guy was bashing Obama during the 2008 election. I would not be surprised if they were watching him and set up a sting when they knew he would be in town. A lot of stuff does not get reported until someone famous gets busted (Government official, clergy, Celebrities).

Most counties will elect boards of supervisors, school boards, commonwealth's attorneys and sheriffs in 2015. Primaries are in June; the general election is in November. Both houses of the General Assembly are also up for election in 2015.

He was a PG county insider. The interesting thing here is these agencies are not located in one central area. Obviously DC and PG co. are adjacent to one another, although DC is separate from MD. I recall reading in the MD budget a few years ago of federal monies being allocated for this exact purpose. Use it or lose, they are using it.
