I have been told many things and since I'm planning a tour it's only right to ask on the Atlanta board about the market. Some say it's good and you meet great people while others say it's bad and the hobby really isn't a " hobby" there.  

Most states you'll notice many different prices points some 300 some 700 some 1000 but Atlanta seems to focus on one price point so I'm told.  

Hopefully someone can break down the areas here and let me know what to expect.
I haven't announced my tour yet since I'm making it a surprise but based on the answers I receive I'll look more into a location, I'm concerned about the turn out

Atlanta has many great providers, a flavor for everybody and a great mix of indies and agencies.
I have heard that its not an exceptional travel city but we do have our share of regular touring
women here.  

From a hobbyist stand point its a great hobby scene.

if your price point is on the higher end, I would not worry as there is
many high rollers here if you are worried about making bank as long as
your reviews and pics back you up.

I travel the country for business and from a hobbyist POV Atlanta is fantastic. All kinds of options and the choices are mindboggling. That may present a negative from your perspective since the supply side is so strong. However... I am looking @ it as a visitor so my view will differ from the day-to-day Atlanta resident. I don't even look at visiting providers when I'm in Atlanta since there are so many homegrown opportunities.  
The Atlanta guys I have met @ M&G's all seem to be very discerning and I am sure they will gladly support any quality provider. The key is to let them know who you are and when you will be there. I learned many years ago that shameless self promotion works in many fields. Provide the right opportunity, with the right credentials, and you'll do fine. Great folks in Atlanta on both sides of the game.

This is great advice! I've literally been at so many price points during my years as a provider. There are guys that look for the most bang for their buck BUT there are MANY high rollers too. I just went to a 2hr minimum at 700 and I stay consistently as busy as I want. ..well granted I have the time due to family lol but if your pic's and reviews are good, you should be good at any price.

Honestly - there is a LOT of really GOOD local talent.  No lack of highly skilled, good looking, open minded ladies around here......  I can't think of anything I wanted that I haven't been able to get so far in any quantities I wanted it in.

The TER local ads have lots of prices to look at.... Setting up rates that are far above those rates is probably not going to be economically rewarding - but who knows?  Always nice to see new faces.

As far as places you might set up shop - realistically - Buckhead or North Perimeter are going to be your choices - TONS of reasonably priced premium chain hotels (priceline is your friend...) - and lots of customers....

That you guys are spot on and correct. The market seems to be welcoming at any price point. I see people at 700, some at 1k others at 400 some at 250 so I'm guessing Atlanta is a major city as well. I also see touring ladies passing by although many say it isn't ideal for touring.

The only thing  it looks like from my POV is that everyone is in Perimeter or Buckhead. I don't see anyone in dunwoody or stone mountain. Not even deeper in Georgia like macon so I'm assuming the pile up is in two places and that's perimeter or buckhead surprisingly since there are so many areas.

Atlanta is kind of divided by race. The north more white, the south less white. That's a generality of course. Most providers choose the north because that's where the customers are.
