Just curious. For guys that hobby regularly how often do you get yourself tested? 100% CFS (obviously) with an occasional bbbj.

You can pay cash. But sometimes if you come down with something like mono you want to insurance to cover it. Depending on how many tests you want.

depending if you want the basics or the full workup. They do work on a sliding scale, which can be even free if you are indigent - but you have to provide proof that you receive government assistance as in medicare, food stamps, and low income pay stubs.
That's my experience there as well. Nothe expensive but not free.

I used http://www.stdtestexpress.com and went for their 8 test pane. All very easy and I would recommend!
One thing happened to me though. They state that results come online unless tests indicate you may need counseling in which case they will phone you. So 2 days after testing, at 9pm no less, I get a call.
They spent what seemed like 5 mins coldly going through security questions to verify my identity. If the human heart can actually burst from stress I certainly put that to the test. Worst 5 mins of my 50 year life.
She then cheerfully said it was just a courtesy call to explain charges on my card. I checked online later anf found the results there early. All completely clear.
In the online survey I mentioned the experience and they promised to change their policy to reassure people up front if its not bad news.
