What I did this summer

This sounds like when I was young and started back to school we always had to write a "What I did this summer" paper.

So let me channel my inner 13 year old...

Wait, when am I not channeling my inner 13 year old?...

What I did this summer was have fun.  It was very hot.  Super hot.  So I went to the beach.  I got burnt real bad.  But I saw lots of pretty girls in bikinis.  One let me rub lotion on her.  That was fun.  I drank lots of beer.  That was fun too.  I saw some movies.  You know the one where they blow up stuff?  The bad guy is really bad and he's all "I'm going to get you real good" and stuff.  But they blow him up in the end though.  It was fun.  I like movies.  Especially ones where there's lots of stuff blowing up.  That's fun.

I met a real pretty lady this summer who treated me extra nice.  I spent a lot of time with her.  She said I was the best "special friend" she ever had.  We hung out and she showed me her bed and she kissed me...  I think I should not tell the rest because it's not "propriate."  She did have a real nice kitty though.  Her kitty is pretty and sweet and friendly.  And frisky.  Really frisky. It was fun.

Making special friends is fun.

Especially ones that have nice kitties.

The end.

I'm going to go watch stuff blow up now, ok?

That's fun.

It has me looking back and being so thankful for all the amazing people in the hobby and providing in Atlanta. Stepping out on my own this year has really helped me to appreciate the great group of people we have here. Provider to provider, I just love how we all look out for each other and you never really feel alone in the adventure. Speaking provider to hobbyist, you guys have really made this such an incredible journey and we're just getting started. I'm so excited to round out the year with all of you! I've read  it over and over on these boards that Atlanta is the best city to hobby and I really couldn't agree more! I've made a lot of new friends, some that feel more like family and I am just beyond thankful.
So, that leaves you with the questions:

Did you guys have as fun of a summer as me? Are there things you would like to see change in the hobby? What's your favorite part about being a provider or hobbyist here in Atlanta? Care to share some of your best memories from the hobby?

xoxo

Dear Miss Brooks,

Thank you for the A+!  Did you know you are my favorite teacher - ever?  My dad says I could "amount to a hill of beans" one day if I can just "keep my smart mouth shut."  That's good, right?

I can see you got that apple I left for you on your desk.  And there's a nice toy for your kitty in your desk drawer too.  I put it out of sight because I didn't want to look like a suck-up in front of the other students.

Unless it works.  Bribery that is.  If so, then I'll be the best little suck-up you ever saw.  ;-)

I like being the teacher's pet.

Or petting the teacher.

Either way works for me.  ;-)

*Pssst*  I hope me bringing a toy for your kitty is ok.  And it's not too personal?  It's just a guess but I bet you have a sweet kitty that likes to be played with?

That's fun.
