So if I'm married and want to have a dinner date with a provider, what restaurant has a private booth.  I'm really worried about being discovered?  Anyplace between Buckhead and Alpharetta.

Any advice?

I didn't think of Joey D's. They have good booths.

McCormick &Schmicks has curtained booths too.

Just fair warning.  Every time I go to Bones I bump into people I know or see people that are relatively famous (around Atlanta).  This is a place where many important people in Atlanta go to BE noticed.  You may certainly slide under the radar, but that if you have any friends that run in these circles that happen to be at Bones, they will take a good hard scan of the room to see who they know, or look for famous people. I would never go there with anyone I didn't want to answer questions about.

The curtained booth restaurant sounds better, or go to a restaurant with a Chef's table.

A lot of TER members are married, on both sides.  If you feel guilty about going to your wife's fave restaurant or worried about being discovered by your friends, then maybe you simply should not dine out.

I've had a few encounters at various Zagat rated establishments and no one gave a damn. I'm not the most exuberant PDA guy, but I'm not that shy either.  I've once been approached by an acquaintance while dining and coyly changed my date's name and referred to her as a prospective business partner. I even had the nerve to offer him to dine with us or join us for a drink, but he politely declined. He would later tell me he too was a client of my lady partner and had actually approached to see if it was actually the two of us. He and I laughed because he told me the truth, though she never admitted her associations with the two of us to either of us - a discretion that's a mark of class on her part.

Any rate, all that said - trust your gut. If you know your wife's and mutual friends' hangouts and can avoid them, maybe that puts your mind at ease enough to enjoy yourself with your young lady. Get this info before you investigate further.

Also, there's nothing wrong with dining at the hotel restaurant you're visiting for the evening. It's not like you're the first married man to meet anyone there, nor the last.

My two cents, ga_kosh

I provide dinner, on me, in a very private setting (my place) so no one would ever recognize you lol ;)
