Bernie Sanders is to the left of Castro.

Trumps "conservative chops" have always been in question, and rightfully so. Bernie OTOH is the one dragging his newly found party even further to the left, not the other way around.

He isn't trying to get out of them, he is trying to schedule them so as many people as possible will watch.

Your intellectual dishonesty in these matters is really starting to rival LTM

Bernie made the very same claim against Clinton as the Democratic debates seemed to be scheduled during times where the very least amount of people would be watching, unlike the GOP debates which scored blockbuster ratings, debates that the Donald happened to do quite well at I might mention.

Keep in mind that these schedules were set up by the Dems & GOP last September, trying to say anything else is "intellectual dishonesty", if you get my drift.

Donald did well by insulting 16 nitwits that played well to the GOP base------a 1 on 1 against HRC with a much larger audience will likely play much differently; I'm expecting her to clean that idiot's clock, but we'll see what happens if all 3 debates come off.

I'm expecting a Megyn Kelly redux where Trump bows out on 1,2, or all of the debates, whether they get rescheduled or not. Keep in mind that he wussed out/reneged on a 1 on 1 debate with Bernie. I say he flakes on part or all of the debates. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe not. We'll see.

There will most certainly be debates and I further predict both of them will leave the stage battered and bloody. I think with all the ammunition each one has on the other, it will be quite entertaining.

It's already been proven that Hillary conspired to rig the system against Sanders, the difference between Sanders and Trump is that Trump won't take the fucking lying down.

I can most definitely understand why the Bernie crowd has such a collective feeling of betrayal, Their guy most certainly "punked out" and he did so almost concurrently with finally being vindicated for his claims of "foul play" on the part of Hillary and the DNC

My issue is with Cheesy's accusation that Trump was trying to "weasel out of the debates" when nothing could be further from the truth. Trump is trying to get the debates moved to times where MORE people will be watching, not trying to "weasel out" of them as Cheesy dishonestly claimed.

..."rigged" the debates when, in fact, they had nothing to do with setting the debate schedule - it was done by a NON-partisan commission.

And all the article said was that Trump bitched about it being "unacceptable."  That sounds like he will not "accept" the debate schedule and will not show up on those dates.

In 2012, two of the debates were scheduled on the same night as NFL games and still had high ratings.  I don't recall Obama, Romney or YOU bitching about those debate dates.

"NFL games are played on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays in the fall.  Fridays and Saturdays are effectively ruled out because TV viewing is lower on weekend evenings.  That only leaves Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  One complication was (that) Yom Kippur (falls) on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12 (this year)."

Nowhere in the article did the author ever use the words "weasel out" or anything even close to those words.

and do you really believe that Trump is going to try to "weasel out" of the debates? The underdog NEVER tries to get out of the debates, Trump already gambled and to a certain extent lost by skipping the one debate in the primaries. Trump most likely needs the debates more than Hillary.

Of course there is the possibility that after seeing the two of the most disliked Presidential candidates in history going toe to toe on a national stage that the voters will DEMAND a new slate of candidates and we could have a "do over" lo

...with GaGambler. While by no means I am a Trump supporter, Clinton campaign always tries to minimize number of the debates their candidate is involved in and/or in general any type of her uncontrolled exposure. If I'd be part of the Clinton's campaign I'd be doing exactly the same thing.

If she'd get in Hillary may end up being a good president (as in "administrator") after all but she's an awful campaigner (as in "politician") and the way she projects often scares the living shit even out of her supporters, let alone independents.

Debates can't help Hillary, they can only help Trump. Now if Johnson's poll numbers were to reach 15% Clinton's campaign would be trying for 1 debate at 10am on Wednesday morning. :)

Dems AND the GOP set up the debate schedule & Trump cowardly reneged debating Bernie 1 on 1

IF the debates come off, she'll clean that moron's clock No doubt about it.

The only way Trump was going to debate Bernie was if it was understood that they would BOTH be beating up on Clinton.

and there is SERIOUS doubt that Hillary is going to clean Trumps clock. Clinton didn't exactly clean Bernie's clock in the debates and Bernie didn't go after her a tenth as hard as Trump is going to.

There are various reasons why it benefits Trump to not address questions in a debate format. The size of the viewing/listening audience neither works for or against him (or Hillary)
