Well, she can't charm like Obama. As a speaker, he is one of a kind and hard act to follow.

As for content, some pundits have expressed a sentiment that she has failed to win over the orphaned republicans.

However, I am glad she has stayed to the left and perhaps moved a bit farther to the left, thanks to Bernie. Let's not return to the segregation days of Jim Crow or the paranoid period of McCarthy.

Hillary, as she described herself, is a workhorse, not a showhorse. I can accept her for her ability to accomplish tasks, even if she can't put on a show

HRC hasn't won the hearts of Bernie supporters yet. She must make some compromises to her manifesto and express these adjustments to Bernie supporters.

She carries an image as someone untrustworthy. Truth or lore, this is how she is perceived by a significant percentage of the electorate. She can't change this image overnight. No use trying tonight. Bill, Obama, and uncle Joe have given it a try, hopefully with some success. Leave it at that.

Don't spend too much time berating Trump. Others have done this, speaker after speaker, for 3 days. Bloomberg and Obama have done this very well already. It doesn't take much skill to portray him for what he is. Obvious things don't need to be overstated. Maybe spend a few minutes talking about the dangers he poses with national security and international relations. You don't need to tell this audience much more about your opponent. You will never bag his hardcore supporters, anyway.

Focus on what you can do for Bernie supporters and for the independents. You need to win them to crush and trash the bad orange.

Please be positive and give details of what you can do. And, be truthful.

Fortunately or unfortunately, you are the best we have. Good luck and be good, lady.

and will heed your advise. Asking her to be truthful is like asking a cow to fly. It's not that the cow doesn't want to fly. It just can't.

No question in my mind that the DNC has been better organized with more effective speakers and messages than the RNC last week.

I wonder if HRC's numbers in polls have risen since.
