...even if it's a big, embarrassing deal for you.

As my Swedish ski instructor said, "Eventually, you must grab a nut--and point them downhill."

Find yourself a female urologist if that helps. My urologist is great, but it's a little creepy being examined by him. His nurse is a cutie, though. I love it when she comes in to give me an ultra sound. "Unbuckle, drop 'em, and lower your shorts a little," she says. Who can say no? LOL.

Maybe the urologist will put you on a low-carb diet, make you get more exercise, and put you on testosterone injections.

But, there also might be something more seriously wrong. The symptom you described is not good.

Trust me, things will be fine after the first few minutes BCD with the urologist.

I'm 60 and have been to a urologist for what turned out to be a prostate biopsy.  His nurse practitioner assistant was a woman.  She sealed the deal for me on the first visit when it came time for the finger-up-the-butt part.  Her comment to me was, "Either I can do it or the doctor can do it.  My finger's smaller."  I found this guy via my GP.  I looked him up and found out that he's one of the best in the DC Metro area.

Totally unrelated to the prostate issue (turned out to be a non-issue, fortunately), I've developed Peyronie's.  I have no idea how I may have injured (if I did) the plumbing.  I'm a runner and am fit, so, there are no lifestyle issues of which I'm aware.  I plan to bring it up when I see him (and her) for my six-month follow-up visit in January.

In spite of the curved erection (scar tissue is on top right behind the glans), I can still get reasonably hard and perform.  No ladies have complained yet.

So, as others have said, find a good urologist with whom you're comfortable and spill your guts.  Doing nothing is like having chest pains and being afraid to see a cardiologist.

thats nature saying maybe you shouldnt be having sex anymore

What is your diet like...are you overweight?

We have another genius on GD board seeking legal counsel on alleged rape that probably happened over 25-30 yrs ago..allegedly..

And now you want us to determine why you can't get hard? Could be 100s of reasons why at any age someone can't get hard. 62 ain't that old. Granted its not 26, but lot of people a lot older are having plenty of sex with little bit of help, and some even naturally w/o any meds.

.....because they are embarrassed.  It's s senstitve topic for a gentleman to discuss with anyone.  With that being said, I agree; visiting a white coat (in person) is the way to go if the OP is not able to get an erection at any time.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

Thirty to thirty-five percent of patients do not respond to the usually prescribed pharmaceuticals, according to this study.

Another visit to a physician seems warranted to determine whether other actions might move one into the other sixty-five to seventy percent.  If not, I wonder whether at least some ladies here would be willing to explore alternative ways to satisfy a gentleman's desires.  It strikes me as a worthwhile endeavor, although I expect that a particularly compassionate lady would be needed.

Who knows?  One might find even greater satisfaction in simpler pleasures--lemons to lemonade and such.

Is that a prescription Cialis or something bought without prescription over the internet?  If the latter, then it may just be a fake.  Also. it's always a good idea to see doctor for regular checkups.

There are other alternatives to the oral pharmaceutical options.  Ask a urologist about injections.  It may sound uncomfortable but it beats the abstinence.   There are several private outfits that offer a doctors services for this,  Boston medical group is one of them... However they will charge around $800 or something ridiculous for 3 months supply .  You can get the same damn medicine  for the price of a co-pay, and $175. I am pre-diabetic and have used it in the past before I lost some weight.   I didn't need to use it when I got into this hobby.   Just an option to think about.  Good luck
