Hey Dude,

Thank you for your service to your country

Don't be worried about rejection

lots of providers support the military and offer military discounts

the hobby isn't about being judgemental, but about having fun and enjoying the company of a beautiful sexxy woman

I would suggest that you let your selected girl know of your arm, so she isn't surprised when you meet her

go forth brave and enjoy

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the hobby and want to take my 1st adventure, but I'm a bit worried what the providers will think. I was in the military for many years and was injured in the Middle East. Due to the war, I lost my left arm and currently wear a prosthetic arm sometimes, do you think I could still participate in the hobby? Sometimes I get self conscious in regards to my injury.
Also they all need references from providers but I've never done this before, any suggestions?
I now realize this should be under the Newbie thread, sorry.

Thanks everyone.

Thanks Shawn1912,
Thanks for the advice, will be sure to let provider know ahead of time.
Will let you know what happens.

Thanks

kahuna415-

A sincere thanks for your service.   Former military myself and very humbled by your sacrifice.

I can't tell you there won't be some ladies that will be uncomfortable with your injury.  However I'm certain there are some who will be fine with it.  Just might need to persevere a bit until you find a provider who's OK with it--and you will.  My recommendation is to join P411 and once you're been employer-screened/verified, fill out your profile stating your situation.  Then request appointments with "newbie-friendly" providers first.  Good luck.

germanboy

Roger that germanboy,

Will take your advice and your thanks means a lot coming from another veteran.
I must admit being a bit gun shy with the women nowadays.
I guess it'll take some time and I need to find some understanding providers.
Will keep you advised.

Thanks again

There is no judgment and there should not be. Anyone who refuses to see you because of this,  is not worth seeing anyways. You lost your arm while serving your country, not your humanity for God's sake.
As long as you are a true gentleman, clean and respectful, I don't see one reason not to see you.

P411 is a great place to get verified even if you have not seen anyone. There are many ladies who are newbie friendly. I am one of them. There are also other ways of verification if you don't have any references

Thank you very much Zayla,

You have put my mind at ease and  thank you for your support, I'm glad I posted here and you were kind enough to respond.
I will be in contact with you soon.
Have a great weekend

looks like you found your first provider here dude

this lady is a real sweetheart

go forth and have fun my friend

write up some reviews

The other lady that posted hit it right on the head - if she is bothered by it she wasn't worth seeing any how !
I have some pretty bad shrapnel wounds from Desert storm myself and I have not found it to be an "issue" per say but it always becomes a topic of conversation . I let them know ONLY when I'm about to disrobe and they already know I'm a jokester so I make it humerous so she then also knows I'm completely fine discussing it , which I am :)
One lady and I wasted damn near the scheduled hour discussing war and whatnot . I'm thinking "are we going to fuck or have I just wasted an hour ?"
So she then reaches into her purse and calls someone and explains she won't be meeting them when they had planned . Family or friend or client I could not tell .
So she places the phone down , strips and gives me a lap dance as I disrobe myself .
She then started kissing , licking and finding every scar I had which took about another half hour and I had fun pointing out which ones she missed and which ones needed more attention both of us smiling and having fun with it !
She tells me she wanted to kiss them all and make them all better !
We were well 3 hours into just an hour appointment so I uncomfortably pointed this out to her .....
"No worries sweetie I have a duty to serve you ALL night to show my appreciation for you serving our country "
I think we fucked for about 5 straight hours until we both fell asleep and she gave me another round in the morning, cooked us breakfast and left .
It's nothing to worry about when you find the right lady !
Go have fun ,and its your time to shine my friend !

I had an experience that I wanted to share, when I was in Southern Cal I met an awesome beautiful lady, we had so much fun together, a memory that I'll never forget. I was with a lady that just had one of her breast removed from (breast cancer mastectomy) at first impression, she has a lot of confidence and didn't even mentioned about her physical status 'till she got naked and I'd noticed and asked what happen, she said with humor "they send me the wrong size so I returned it and will be delivered soon, so looks like you just have to enjoy this one", pointing to the only one she has, we both LOL and I responded, all I want is one anyway, two is too much for me and again LOL together, I realy enjoyed her company. Few months later I have the previledge to see her again and got her other breast through cosmetic surgery and she looks awesome and still jokingly telling me that she could have requested a retractable or removable just for me, ones again LOL. So I suggest don't try to be so hard on yourself and just have confident and sense of humor, physical disabilities is not a factor from being rejected from hobbying, being an A##HOLE is. Just be a gentleman and have high regards of respect for the ladies will reward you the most enjoyable hobby of your life.

Enjoy life my friend :)
We all have insecurities but they are trivial and only cloud our ability to recognize that our essence and being trump any physical aspect of how we look.
What abeautiful story you must have, of strength and courage. Wise are the women who recognize that beauty :)

Thanks everyone for the positive words.
I appreciate everyone's welcoming attitude towards veterans with disabilities.
I've experienced a wide range of attitudes, from cheers and thank you's to a women spitting in my face because she didn't believe in the war.
Maybe this is why I was hesitant in joining in this hobby, but I feel more welcomed to this hobby from every message I receive.
Thanks for everything everyone and as I learn to cope with my situation I will "pull the trigger" soon and am very excited!

kahuna415,

Don't take someone spitting in your face personally.  That is a woman who doesn't realize she rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom that you helped provide--and instead displays emotional immaturity and ignorance.

The good news --the majority of your fellow citizens--people for whom you fought to protect and defend --we fully support you.

I know from experience that veterans have a unique ability to persevere through adversity.  I can only imagine some days will be harder to cope with than others and really hope you're getting help from some great organizations like Wounded Warrior Project.

germanboy

Hey germanboy,

It's been a rough and long road and I've seen many guys go off the deep end, I'm lucky I have a great support group at the VA. I've had 13 operations on my right arm, (the one I still have), to correct an injury that I sustained the same time when I lost my left one. Still not fixed but I still have it so I guess it's better than being a double.
Like you said, we're trained to survive under the most stressful situations and after 4 deployments I have to say coming home was the hardest. I know we're supposed to be tough but the sleepless nights, the isolation, the lonliness, and especially the things I've seen and done that no human should ever have to. But I WILL get through this especially by meeting more understanding people like I've met here. I'm sorry for venting out!
I feel better about myself so I've decided to see Zayla as my 1st adventure in this hobby, I will be contacting her very soon.
But thanks again and I hope more people realize "freedom is not for free".
oorah,

Like everyone else that's posted here, I'm honored by your sacrifice. I see clients with all kinds of interesting physical differences. In fact, clients with disabilities are often my favorites, as they have much better relationships with their bodies than people without disabilities. I'd be happy to see you anytime, no matter how many arms you have :)

Thank you Fiona,

I will call you and really appreciate your views regarding my disabilities.
Where have you people been, I've been listening to all these people with negative views towards us vets.
Again, I will speak to you soon.

kahuna415

What a great range of responses - from reassuring encouragement, to steamy stories straight out of Penthouse forum! All are so positive and supportive. At the risk of sounding trite, it is pretty darn heartwarming.
I can only chime in and agree with the other ladies who have responded. Your sacrifice is something to be honored, not discriminated against. Consider your "differentness" a great screening tool. Whoever refuses to see you on that basis is simply not worth your time anyway!

Enjoy your first adventure - one of many to come no doubt. ;-)

Happy Veterans Day everyone, thank a Vet today! And a belated birthday to the Corp.
