Romance time is usually Barry White or Marvin Gaye Radio.  I really am very Southern and really country so down time is Buffett or old country bar music like George Jones, Merle Haggard and Freddie Fender Radio....

Not sure how many folks do Pandora, but I was wondering what were your go-to stations?

#1 Yacht Rock
#2 Chris Stapleton
#3 Jimmy Buffett

Thought it would be interesting to see the different musical tastes. Ladies feel free to play along.

I have countless GBs of mp3s ripped from an extensive CD collection.
So, I have playlists for my playlists.

I do have a smartphone radio app, but I only use it to listen to various podcasts.

I try not to listen to talk radio, at all.

When I have Pandora going it depends on my mood as to what I'm listening to.  Generally speaking my three modes are relaxing, concentrating, and energizing.  Well, then there's sexytimes.  Ok I have four modes...  :-)

Relaxing
Colin Hay (he's just a super solid singer songwriter)
Andres Segovia (the man, the legend)
Jason Mraz (fun and lyrically intriguing)
Ed Sheeran (a very talented young man)
Keb' Mo' (happy blues.  An oxymoron?  Not sure, but it's awesome)

Concentrating
Toe (the very best math rock has to offer.  Other drummers won't sound the same after you listen to these guys).
Mogwai (moody, interesting, unpredictable)
Orbital (one of the founding fathers of trance music)
Lux Aeterna "Requiem for a dream" (intense, dramatic, heartbreaking)
Mouse on the keys (Pandora WTF?  No can do?  You have to youtube these guys but well worth it.  Fucking amazing.  Check out "Plateau", or "Leviathan", or "Unflexible grids" - well, anything actually. ).

Energizing
Trapt (what's not to like?)
Propellerheads (remember the lobby scene in "The Matrix?")
Breaking Benjamin (great stuff with a harder edge)
Fuel (is there anything better than "Hemorrhage?", I don't think so)
Gaelic Storm (when you want to get your Irish on)

Sexytimes
Sade (timeless and lovely)
Leona Lewis (beautiful and gifted)
Rising Appalachia (these girls can do no wrong.  Genius.)
Imogen Heap (love her haunting voice)
Norah Jones (Come away with me.  Yes I will...)

Of course I love good olé rock and roll.
I also love the Prodigy and Crystal Method
And here is a link to one of my favorite songs by Lindsey Stirling :)
She's one hellava violinist and a beautiful ballerina :)
I love such a wide variety of music.  Depends on my mood. Hell at the gym I like Pantera lol
I pretty much live and breathe music, sex and food :)
XOXO,
T

usually I do R&B love songs, The quiet storm, or I will play tranquil radio.. sometimes when I'm really feeling myself I'll put on "Striptease" radio and that usually gets me going haha

Charlie Daniels - Simple Man
Philadelphia Orchestra - Sherezade
George Gershwin - original recordings
Gloria Estefan
The Howard Roberts Quartet - blues guitar
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
Jimmy Buffet
Kansas
U2

Guess I'm sorta omnivorous, huh?

I don't use Pandora myself. I always find myself skipping songs they suggest. Generally I just make my own playlists from my giant digital library.

My current favorites right now are Ivy Lab, Asa & Sorrow (the stuff they make together and solo), and Flava D. I also really like Niki & The Dove (Swedish synthpop) for sexy times and E.S. Posthumus (cinematic orchestral) for when I want something powerful and epic.
