Bloomberg is a centrist who is immensely popular in NYC. Unlike Trump, he does not brag about how much money he has made although he is 10 times wealthier than the orange man.

while Mikey was a republican when mayor of NYC he never really was nor did he really conform most republican policies.  

His endorsement  of hillwhorie is no surprise and no big deal.
