Aerospace Engineering Companies...

have become whores for the government. They have sold their technology to local governments for millions of dollars. We can thank aerospace companies like McDonnell Douglas for the red light and speed cameras that are out there.

There is no profit--at least currently--in space exploration. If there is a profit to be made by invading and violating the privacy of citizens, I believe that aerospace engineering companies will be on the vanguard in supplying the government with the necessary tools.

Planes fly over the area regularly so I bet a lot of info has been collected. How hard is it to match a number to an escort ad and hangout outside of your location? Text msg, photos, phone convo etc are picked up. giving a location over voice is actually no safer than a text message in the grand scheme of things. NSA complies data and one day if not already they will sell information to local law enforcement. Hell...you think the NSA can't match the voice of person on a escort/hobby phone to someone with their regular phone? Maybe some of y'all disguise voices really well....but then again some girls need the comfort of a phone conversation creating a larger data sample to match voices and locations.

And the fact that 80's drug laws are still on the books in most places you can have assets seized if any connection is made to illegal activity. Granted, the laws were only used against certain racial segments of the population for harassment as well...it technically applies to anything. I guess if you are a 1%er you could probably litigate your way out of the scenario and create doubt.

Anyways, better technology makes it extremely easy to shut this game down.  And i'm not sure how much longer the effort will be relatively high to shut this game down especially if NSA gives info to local law enforcement at will. I think the years are numbered unless we fight for the right to legalize...but i'm not sure how many people want protest/activist on Washington and around the country like they do for marijuana.

"According to a sources speaking to the Wall Street Journal, the U.S. Marshals Service program flies airplanes around “at least five” major metropolitan airports with a range that is said to cover “most” U.S. citizens. These planes are reportedly equipped with devices known as “dirtboxes” that mimic a cellphone tower to trick phones into sharing their registration info.

These dirtboxes are said to be used on a “regular basis” in order to try and collect information on criminal suspects. However, "they also collect data from many innocent people in the process, including their identifying info and location.

While the dirtboxes reportedly discard the information collected on innocents, the claim that the U.S. government is regularly flying planes around and pretending to be a cell tower so that it can get identifying info on people is a bit worrying. Not only are these details being collected by the government without the knowledge of the public, but it’s not clear exactly what they do to get rid of that info."

It always goes along with my theory i had since I was 9 that was maybe inspired from a movie i saw as a child...but the more technology you put into something to easier it is to access what is locked on the other side.

Like Hotels switching to keycards makes it easier for criminals to run a bunch of combinations with a device and break in...even though you obviously have limited time....but I would never want that type of lock on a house as you would have time to stand outside of a house if no one is home or you don't have security cams.

food for thought....

I'd have said that your tinfoil hat is out of frequency and you've watched Captain America: Winter Soldier too much.
But knowing what today's tech can do, it's a very possible scenario. I used to think that I could hide within millions of uninteresting cases as a small fish and they'd skip over me and go after big fishes, but today's processing power and storage capacity is allowing them to go after practically everyone with a very little cost in manpower and hours. See how recording industries can go after almost every one and grannies at bumfuckville downloading mp3s, and that was many years ago.

Right now they are skirting legal grey areas claiming to only go after terrorists, then they'd go after child porns, then murders, and who knows when our turn will come. Fuck NSA and fuck US policies that violates privacy rights over "security" we must vote these fuckers out of office or else we will all either end up in a jail or get blackmailed to be their lapdogs!

where all the higher priority crimes have been taken care. Just think of it - no felonies anywhere, ever. No international problems. We have no fear anymore of other counties or non-state actors. National assets can be devoted to local police departments who are now focused on catching people in fucking misdemeanors. Of course it is also a police state with no personal freedom, but some people would like that.

I have really been impressed by a lot of the smart and savvy folks that post on these boards, but then appalled by the complete paranoids and risk adverse few. Holy crap.

I have been a member of the federal government for over thirty years. No federal agency is  nearly as organized, competent, or malevolent as the OP seems to think they are. Real life is not like the movies or television.

Jeff, take the bliners off, google Stingray. It's here in the DMV. Used in all three. It is largely unheard of due to the non-disclosure clause the manufacturer has with the buyers. Look them up though. They PROFITED over half a billion last year.

I highly doubt the Feds give a shit about a guy's $400 hooker transaction. If they want big money, they'll go after big money. From what I've seen, an Indy isn't something to spend more money on than she even makes.

Think about the salary dollars it takes to organize something like this on every high and low dollar Indy escort.

Just don't get too big, and don't boast of riches and fame, and don't lie that you make or give shitloads of money. Just do your thing and be careful not to get robbed. :D

They went after similar transactions for drugs in the 80s....
But then again drug game had a heirachy and not everyone importing from south america or running a methlab.

Lot of these girls are independent and not coming from some trafficed country so it could be harder to destroy unlike massage parlors.

They use it in medical facilities, and some physicians talk very, very fast. It's picked up with less & less mistakes over time. My phone screws it up all the time, lol, but I can set it for slow, medium, and fast speaking. It's crazy.

So, yes, it's pretty possible. Let's hope they're not targeting little old us. Another reason I don't advertise my phone number.
