Hi, everyone, jazz32 here.  Welcome to what I like to think is the friendliest, and most informative board in the hobby for new guys and gals.

There are a great group of veteran hobbyists and providers here to answer your questions, and if I haven't said so recently, thanks to all of you for making my job easier!!! High fives to the guys, hugs and kisses to the ladies!!!

Of course, the nature of this board means that the same questions come up often.  The permanent link to TER's Instruction Manual found at the top of the board is a great place to start (a recent addition, thanks to the powers that be).  It is a wealth of information about the hobby - definition, screening basics, and how to use TER.  Let me know if you think there is something that needs to be added.

If you are new, WELCOME!!!  You are why this board is here, however, keep these guidelines in mind:

1) Scan a page or two of the board before you ask your question.  In many cases you can find your answer without asking.

2) The newbie board is not a place to place an ad, announce your availability, inform clients to a new phone number, etc, sorry MARLENE (btw, take it easy on the all caps!!!).

3) The newbie board is not a place to ask for recommendations for providers, like black BBBJ providers in LA (sorry to the guy that asked for this), or for opinions on Kim in Kansas City.  The help here is general in nature.

4) Attn Labrone - shilling on TER is always questionable, and is never allowed on the newbie board.
