that his wife needs to "get over it" and Cruz fired back saying, "There is right and wrong and going after my family is wrong and I would hope it would be for you too if someone came after your wife."  
   
 Like I said, if I went after someone's mom on here, I'd be called every name in the book for 10 years.  
   
 But, when Trump does it, it's perfectly ok.  
   
 Bravo to Cruz for not caving to the hypocrite assholes.....especially since it probably cost him his career.  
   
 (Still wouldn't vote for him in a billion years, but since I'm not an ultra-partisan, I can praise the other side when they do something right).

Ted Cruz on Thursday strongly defended his refusal to endorse Donald Trump during his Republican National Convention speech, saying he's not "in the habit" of backing politicians who attack his family.

"I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father," Cruz said at a morning meeting where he faced sharp questions from the Texas delegation in Cleveland.
