I detest Michael Moore and I felt that way about him for many years

but I have NEVER accused Michael Moore of being a stupid man, quite the contrary, Michael Moore has made hundreds of millions of dollars tapping into the fears and hatred of those on the left for decades. I think most Michael Moore "fans" are stupid, but not the man himself.

For the record, the Pence pick as running mate "so far" at least is looking to be more of a positive than a negative at least so far as whether it helps or hurts Trump's chances of winning in November. I still don't like the pick or the man, but I will concede it was most likely a necessary one, if Trump had picked a "non conservative" his candidacy might not have survived this weeks convention.

Democrats are making a big mistake, if they think this is going to be an easy cake walk coronation for HRC. Michael Moore makes a great point in saying Trump could win Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Trump's message of bringing back American jobs, making America great again plays really well in this region. I don't think the Democratic establishment realizes yet how angry the electorate is this year. To compound their anger, If Hillary appoints Tim Kaine as her VP, it would be a backslap to diehard progressives as well as Bernie supporters. FWIW, Tim Kaine is a guy who has spoken out in favor of deregulating Wall Street banks.

Bernie Sanders won Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota and just barely lost in Ohio during the Democratic primaries. Trump's populist's message plays well in ALL those states. Let's agree that Trump will win ALL the Southern States that HRC won by huge margins during the primaries and where she now has ZERO chance of winning during the Generals. Democrat's, including you, would be stupid to think this race will be an easy cake for Hillary, even with a cluster-fucked GOP convention. FWIW, if all the Democratic Super Delegates had been apportioned fairly, neither Bernie or Hillary would have reached the delegate threshold to become the Democratic nominee. The DNC very blatantly rigged the Super Delegate count in Hillary's favor before the primaries even began. Is this the sign of a strong candidate? Seriously

And he doesn't come across as your typical thumper. He is well spoken, likable, laid back and with bona fide conservative credentials.

He has the perfect temperament to contrast with Trump's bombastic, egotistical vibe. Being a "rust belt" guy, I think his net positives far outweigh the negatives and he looks, acts and speaks very presidential, which helps.

Which is what I think you meant to say.

As of now, I think she'll win a tight race ( under a 5% lead ) & nothing I see at this point convinces me otherwise.
