Does that mean your 90% less likely to get prostate cancer?

Ladies and Gents!
It was announced today, and confirmed by the American Urological Association, that recent cancer epidemiology research suggests that "men who have sex with more than 20 women have a 28 percent lower chance of being diagnosed with prostate cancer". Additionally, men having more than 20 female partners are 18 percent less likely to get a more aggressive form of prostate cancer.
Conversely, men having sex with men doubles the risk of prostate cancer as it does with men who never have sex.
These last two categories are of no interest to me but the news in my first statement is affirmative and reassuring...to say the least.
Seems this data comes from Canada, the UK and the US.
Where applicable, perhaps our internists and urologists should have these personal facts in our records...or perhaps they shouldn't!
I'm not an epidemiologist or a statistician  but those of us who have those proclivities may wish to look further into these findings and drill down (no pun) a bit further on the data.
I'm sure this will go viral at some point if it hasn't already!
Aren't some aspects of 'preventive medicine' wonderful

you mentioned no hypothesis as to the relationship.

It could be coincidental rather than causative.

Either way I would like to know if that is 20 over a lifetime or over some lesser amount of time.

Then again, if it is over 20 in a regular rotation, I need a second job, or maybe even third.

Sex is a very healthy way to a healthy life. Now helping with the prevention of cancer. It also good for your heart, keeping cholesterol low, and many other vital necessities. Although, we must remember to play safe. Sex is meant to be enjoyed, not feared or frowned upon.

Happy Hobbying everyone!!! Muah!!!

. . . and it saves you a whole lot of dough.

I wonder if having multiple partners raises the risk of STD

....by a Hobbyist.  There was a point in my life when I consciously did no boning for an extended period of time.  During that period I got/suffered a bout with Prostatitis.

One of the first questions the Doc asked me when was the last time I had sex?  I told him it's been months (at the time at least 4 months.)  The Doc noted that they may have been a big factor in me contracting it for the first time in my life.

He noted that ejaculation helps keep "the-pipes-clean."  He did not note any increased risk of cancer but he did note that "busting-a-nut," my phrase, does have many benefits in addition to procreation and producing/increasing the endorphins in your brain and body.

Hence, you don't need 20 women to achieve these benefits.  But tell a Hobby dude that!!!  ROFLMAO!!!!!
