I find myself agreeing with you….
Lets face it, I am not going to read it any time soon. In my view it is just a commercial book written to sell exploiting something everyone knows it always sells… that is sex.
Personally I rather read something a little more… educated. But I do like the sense of initiative of the writer. Serena xI don't know if you have read the book yet but in my opinion it has no literary value and is boring.
Also I know that it made BDSM community worry because it misinforms people.

Tried reading 50 shades, but couldn't get past the first page. I got bogged down in the terrible writing. Looking forward to watching Sedaris' no doubt hilarious take on it, so thanks for sharing!
