Again good, but not perfect.

Most times it works, but I've had more than a few where I followed the directions and no dice - then went a different route, and then no problems.  Weird

Just wondering what you're preferred method of contacting a provider is for you?

I know some providers dislike it, but my preference is first - texting.  I don't mind at all calling right before the appointment, but would like to do the initial contact through text.  Second would be e-mail, but that makes me feel like I'm hanging, versus the instant feedback of text.  Either she is there or not, ready or distracted or busy.  Probably works better with agencies than independents, though.

Thoughts?

Initial contact should be email. Otherwise the provider wouldn't know who you are. From then on, I prefer text. To get the room number, call or text.

I've had good success making the initial contact through P411 request form.

P411 is pretty decent, but not foolproof.  I've had success, but its not the end all be all.  I guess it depends on the provider.

based upon what is stated in her ads, website, etc...

Usually, I'll do my best to send an articulate introductory email with a specific request and the information she needs to screen me a couple days in advance (for a first meeting, at least). Rarely do I not get a timely response, and that is usually because my email wound up in a spam filter. Texting or calling on the day of the date is more the norm than continued email.

For something shorter notice, I will call most often before texting. It just seems to make communication easier and be more successful than texting to secure the date. I think texting often leads to poor grammar, incomplete communication, follow-up emails or calls, etc.; all time-wasting activities and commonly cited reasons for NOT responding.

Think about it. It is just as easy to ignore a call or text as it is to ignore and email. Don't most of us get all 3 on our phones now?

Making appointments via email. It's the least secure means of communication. You do know LEO, in many states, can obtain your emails with only a subpoena? And they are recoverable from the server even if you delete them locally.  Get a burn phone and call or text that way, preferable call.

Most gals in the upper echelon work through email. LE has better things to do than go through emails and bust individual Johns and providers. They are more likely to do a sting operation or bust an agency as the cost benefit analysis is in their favor..That's something they can run on next election cycle..

Unless you are some high profile guy, LE has little to gain from busting an individual guy..

How long you been doing this? Not too long I guess...

CurlyW - What an idiotic responce. LE always have something better to do until they come knocking at your door. Use some common sense and protect yourself.  It's an easy thing to do.

and just calling someone like that is not something I do unless that's her preferred method.

I always start out with email. But do as you wish.. Its your time and your money, and of course...your reputation.

I would say a text because I always have my phone with me. If you call first and we never spoke before, which would mean that your number isn't in my phone, I will screen the call before I pick up. An email is also ideal it's just that I may be out and about so, if I haven't read it that morning I won't see it until later that day.
