I binged watched the entire season 1 on the Starz app via AppleTV.

Agreed, the main character has ZERO personality.  If I ever met a lady like her, I'd never repeat and regret the first meeting.  Thank goodness I have never met a lady like her before.  Another reason to love our Atlanta gals.

I can't help but think about "Secret Diary of a Call Girl" with Billie Piper, which was good TV to me though Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 47%.

I'm thinking about doing a binge watch of the show, like I do for Daredevil, but wanted someone else's opinion first.

Thanks in advance.

Happy Monday,

It's ok sofar, not great. Call girl  diaries seemed a bit better. It's early yet so I'll give it a chance. I seen a couple things that I don't agree with but maybe they are outside my experience level.

You should know better than to ask serious advice from this crowd.

If I may quote my favorite pervert...

What are you hiding, E?
You binged watched the whole thing last night, didn't ya?
I bet you're currently re-watching it "for research purposes", ain't ya?

Inquiring minds wanna know.
Besides, you can tell me....

Honestly though, I am asking a serious question from this crowd - even and especially you, E.

Ok Koshie,

Nope, I haven't seen it yet.   Like Mr. Herman said, I'm sure I've lived it though.

If I want to see folks make morally questionable life choices in exchange for money, fame, and power I'll watch the presidential campaign coverage.  *rimshot*

Seriously, if you think it's good - let me know and I'll check it out.  I could use some serious "research" time.

After all what do I know?  My idea of hard hitting journalism is catching @midnight with Chris Hardwick.  ;-)

Now THAT is worth binge watching...

@midnight? Chris Hardwick?
Is that a twitter account for/the stage name of a porn star?
I know, I know. The Nerdist. I remember him from TechTV and G4 doing electronics reviews.

I'll likely watch the GFE show sometime, but there's a lot on my plate right now. Penguins made the EC playoffs and play the wretched NY (Power) Rangers come Wed... and we have a a bunch of injured goalies... but wouldn't be great if we won the Cup again this year?...I digress as usual.

I'll PM ya when I do watch GFE.

Oh, please, you with with 37 reviews, take your tired morality and.....

Calm down my friend...  it was a joke.  Only a joke.

And I have no morals to question, so what does that say about me?

PS: What are you wearing JakeFromStateFarm?

according to my DVR, the first 2 episodes aired last night.

I've nearly finished it.  I have about 3 episodes left.  They are fairly short so it goes quick as far as binge watching.

It's like a weird cross between Call Girl Diaries and The Firm.  There's nearly just as much law office intrigue and shenanigans as there is escort plot.

Just saw the first two episodes and I'll be damned......pretty  good show. Very well done .
Certainly exceeds other ridiculous  attempts to tell the story of this life.

I'm really hoping the writers develop their characters better. They are just so dry, and really, so is everyone else except for that sweet widower in episode 2. Do women really have resting bitch face that much? I honestly don't know anyone that does it that frequently.

The previews make it look like it gets more exciting though in terms of plot line. The previews show what appears to be someone outing her at her job and her mom trying to figure out what's up.

The sex scenes are pretty hot, but not as good as the sex scenes in Outlander, Game of Thrones or True Blood.

I felt the portrayal of the industry thus far is pretty accurate, as far as I can tell. Then again, she is out of my league, and I've never worked with an agency. BTW, I promise I will never order a $700 bottle of champagne or a $900 bottle of wine on your room service tab. Most of us wouldn't. lol

So, we'll see. I had high hopes for Elvis' granddaughter.

Secret Diary of a Call Girl was really great. Belle had such a sparkling personality, and the industry was portrayed accurately, though it was in England where FSSW is decriminalized. I wish we could get another show like that. Or, maybe a movie.
