Arlington seems to be a great location after all is next to the pentagon . My next question is for people who like to dine out. What are some good restaurants in the Arlington area ? My favorite food happens to be pasta lo

King Street Blues in Crystal City underground has some great pasta dishes. It is 2 metro stops from Pentagon. Pentagon City has many restaurants and it is one metro stop away from Pentagon.

What I have been using for a few years to find good places to eat when I am traveling or even near home is Urbanspoon. Until one recent experience, I could say it has never steered me wrong. That experience wasn't even bad, just not as good as I had thought (but the company more than made up for it). Link for DC area, including Northern VA where you are staying is below.

Hope your stay in our area is a great one (wink, wink)

Thanks so much Jeff you always know where to direct me to
Ps: I am sure my stay will be more then wonderful especially with you :-) * wink

I had a good experience with a gentleman at Legal sea foods for our dinner date. The food was delicious, service was great and parking (on the side building) is free after 4 pm. Nice place for dinner, a date, happy hour with friends.

You should try tapas if you haven't yet!  As for pasta, if you can hop over to Georgetown, you should try Filomena's.

There is an Italian restaurant, among others, in Pentagon Rowe (http://pentagonrow.com) located adjacent (west) of Fashion Center at Pentagon City.  There are also Italian restaurants in nearby Crystal City on Crystal Drive between 18th and 23rd streets, and on 23rd street just west of Richmond highway (US Rt. 1).  Bon Appetit!  Oh! Excuse my French!  I meant to say, Buon Appetito!
