I prefer in call appointments. I have had some out call, and I am always so nervous until the lady arrives. I have never felt any where near the same amount of anxioty, for an in call date.

I could see how our call would be advantageous for several hour appointments.

There was a time in my life, where I could only do outcalls..  Conditions surrounding one's life change, and I am more into incalls now than before..  

If your clientele is a bunch of guys visiting the city for business reasons and have no transportation other than taking a cab, and already are staying out of a hotel for a few days, then you would be getting more outcall requests. Or maybe there is a big football game on TV that they don't want to miss. So they want you to come over and are willing to pay the premium for it...

That being said, incall requests are more common as one can do it more discreetly w/o leaving a paper trail. You book a hotel; and wifey sees that charge on Credit Card bill then you better have a good divorce attorney....

Either way works fine for me. If a girl is a little too far away for me to drive, I may ask if she is willing to come to me.

Incall if I'm local, outcall if I'm traveling.

Occasionally a local outcall if planning an extended day/evening or overnight.

In my experience, incalls are usually daytimer local men. Outcalls are  traveling men. I can highly recommend outcalls as long as you screen for the same safety as you do for having someone come to you. Outcalls mean dinners and other fun outings plus no prep for having your location spotless, just show up for fun. I really like doing both but mostly outcall.

I get to know the provider.

I usually am incall, and have tried outcall a couple of times.  My preference is visiting the provider versus them coming to me.  That way I don't have to watch whats in my room or worry about my possessions.  Also, if they have reserved a room, there is some sort of paper trail.

From a safety point, maybe I'm wrong, but better for the girl to have her own room.  That being said, recent reports/ news has proven that assumption faulty. Anyway, if its a higher end hotel and not Redroof Inn or Budget Motel, I'm thinking out call would be pretty safe and mostly guys on business.

Not even a close "call" for me - I pretty much do only outcall. With incall, I never know how many guys have walked down that same hallway, and knocked on that same door, that day. That can bring a little too much attention to the room. With outcall, there's one person who walks down the hall and knocks on the door once.

I respect that some ladies feel it much safer to come to their place, and feel far more vulnerable going to outcall. If I was on the other end of things, I would probably even feel that way myself. But for the reasons outlined above, I as a guy do only outcall coming to me. I'd just say it's always important for the ladies to get good references and feel very comfortable in who they go outcall to.
