If you suddenly see them only do massages and no more full service that is a hint something is up with an infection they can't get rid of.
Street level prostitution, so maybe not of the most relevance to most here. But this level of PD activity is rare in DC. Wonder what prompted it, and if they will branch out?

Logan Circle/Shaw has become a very fashionable area. Some of the businesses on 14th Street are high profile attracting diners like Joe Biden, Newt Gingrich and Hilary Clinton and the resident have money and influence. People with money and influence can usually get the attention of the politicians and bureaucrats.
Not that many years ago, 14th Street and the Logan Circle area along with K Street was wall-to-wall street girls. The K Street sweeps and gentrification of Logan Circle has thinned the ranks and moved many around. The tourist industry is so important that MPD will sweep areas where tourist, especially families, are.
As for those working in hotels, they don't seem to bother anyone who is discreet, which is the way it should be. Does anyone think guys go to conventions and conferences solely to convene and confer.
I thought that scene was pretty much dead awhile ago. The likes of TESLA, high end hotels, I thought they cleaned up a few years ago. On another board, the forums is just dead, dead, dead.
