)  Do you care if a client is wearing a wedding ring?
Not really.

 2)  Does it make you feel safer?  (less likely to have a stalker)
no not at all. I've had 2 stalkers that were both married.

 3)  If you ask about the ring, is it for the clients benefit/safety?  (no perfume, lipsticks, condom latex 'odor', etc.
No, I typically try to be as discreet as possible before the appointment regardless.

 4)  If a client takes it off, and you can obviously tell, does that bother you?

Should a client leave it on or take it off?

Some thoughts...

1)  Do you care if a client is wearing a wedding ring?

2)  Does it make you feel safer?  (less likely to have a stalker)

3)  If you ask about the ring, is it for the clients benefit/safety?  (no perfume, lipsticks, condom latex 'odor', etc.

4)  If a client takes it off, and you can obviously tell, does that bother you?

TIA

My clients are married men, single men, divorced men and some even widowed. If they want to discuss it that is fine with me. Who am I to judge? If I see a ring I think nothing of it. I am there to do me and you. ;-) And with a pretty smile on my happy face.

and drop in the white envelope that you brought in with you....

Some girls  I know will actually insist on having any wedding rings, expensive watches, chains etc along with their fee.  This one guy got into altercation with the girl over a small piece of jewelry, and ended up losing his finger... and the ring of course...:D.. Of course this lady hails from NJ..So no surprise there..

OK...On a serious note.. No one cares about you being married or having a ring.. Majority of business for most of the providers comes from married folks anyway...

I leave it and my watch in the car...less stuff to have to worry about remembering to take when I leave...

I used to leave the ring in the car at first cuz I was embarrassed but then I would get the questions like "So why is a cute guy like you single?" and then I would get even more embarrassed cuz I would have to fib or deflect the question (which wasn't really cool imo either).

I think like on my 4th date, I forgot to take it off and didn't realize it until afterwards. It was such a non-issue for the provider that I decided I shouldn't be worried about it either.

Bottom line: No one cares if you are married.

else you are just going down the primrose path toward getting seriously confused about P4P....

taking your ring off is a good way to lose it or forget it as well - dumb move....
