People are gonna get the wrong idea lol. You are a lover, aren't you Mr. Grant lol
Hello All,
I will be in Atlanta for business, staying Downtown near Olympic Park, and am looking for recommendations for a great weekend brunch and dinner spot in that area. I am not a fan of chain/corporate places at all. Places with a great menu and a funky vibe usually hit the spot. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

For the best breakfast go to the Silver Skillet on 14th-Old school- order the country ham and thank me later.. For later go to- 6 feet under- for the view of the city and good food- they do have killer Bloody Mary's and Shrimp and grits. Can't go wrong with any of the Rathbun group. Have a great time. Cheers
Lots of good things to eat but i recommend the Brisket Skillett
Both are local franchises but very good.
Superica at Krog Street Market has a Mexican flavor weekend brunch. It is a Ford Fry restaurant.
yes Flying Bisquet is good for casual brunch and tasty!
A favorite of mine for brunch is West Egg Cafe. I agree with the assessment of Rathbun's for dinner (winner with his brother on an episode of Iron Chef).

u had an enjoyable time
here are my recommendations for brunch places that I believe match your criteria:
- Ria's Bluebird
- Home Grown
- Carroll St. Cafe
- Flying Biscuit (Candler Park)
- Gato Bizco
- Radial Cafe
- Highland Bakery
- Thumbs Up Diner
As for dinner, I would need to know what makes a "great" menu in your opinion and/or if there is a specific cuisine you are looking for.
Enjoy!! We have some great food in this city. :
