Make it a booty panorama for me

Landscape mode with her lying on the bed/sofa on her tummy showing her lovely buns (bare of course).  Oh, and her face.  If she wants.  But the buns are mandatory.

That was oddly specific, wasn't it?

But hey - you asked.  ;-)

Or perhaps I should say landscape or portrait?

I was reading an article making fun on Mulder for trying to use a camera phone in the past Monday's episode "sideways" when I realized that there's a tendency for some of us (of a certain age) to take our pics in landscape vs portrait.

The younger, 'Selfie" crowd seems to think there's no reason for landscape as most self pics are vertical and many posed pics are landscape. Me? I was raised that you want to remember the background/setting as much as as the person I'm capturing for the memory. After all, movies are not made in portrait, they're landscapes.

How do you folks prefer to photograph or be photographed?
(FYI, I don't like shooting people nor be shot at, but that's a more of a semantic thing than an actual).

That is a great argument for landscape!

"I find the most sensual part of a woman is the boobies" - Zap Brannigan, "Futurama"

so I would add Boobies to that list of objects that should also ALWAYS be photographed in Landscape.

As long as you don't need a fisheye lens to get all of her in the pic!

A fisheye lens!

Somebody call 9-1-1 'cause I just killed it.

PS:  In all seriousness - please don't call 9-1-1.  You could get in big trouble.

Some people think that they're optical illusions, but once you're done staring at the T&A... fluffy beds, cityscapes, boats, waterfalls and other items appear behind the ladies.

I enjoy all of it.

Landscape is more familiar to us old farts because the old film cameras (35mm and 110 film) were positioned in landscape when held in upright position.  If you were using portrait cameras with larger format film (Hasselblads and Mamiyas or the big format cameras) the upright camera position tended to be either portrait or square (if I remember correctly).  All that being said, generally with 35mm cameras you would rotate the camera to capture the desired image, thus if the lady was standing then portrait and if she was lying down landscape.  My preferences outside of full body shots as described above are: boob shot close ups landscape, butt shots landscape, face shots portrait, legs and backs portrait.
