Paul Ryan has shut down discussion & floor votes on any of the gun legislation proposed in the senate. Whether it's fear of reprisal to the senators or pay offs to the republican war chests it still leaves people on the TSA no fly list with the same ability as you or me to buy firearms, that makes no sense. The big reason is people on the no fly list may be deprived of due-process, where was due-process when they were put on the no fly list, that seams to be a double standard & if they are turned down @ the gun store they can just buy a gun on the internet or @ a gun show. Somehow I don't believe the authors of the second amendment would have approved of people that might harm an aircraft full of passengers to be armed on the streets of our country.

from obtaining firearms while making sure due-process was afforded to law abiding citizens. They chose to vote it down. Its clear these people do not like due-process for citizens. They seem to be all for criminals and non-citizens having them but never citizens.
Realize that it took ultra rich, ultra powerful, well known, Ted Kennedy 6 months to get off the government no-fly list. Bureaucrats make mistakes often. Without due process a normal citizens would spend their life's fortune just trying to exercise a constitutional right.
Its clear the Dem's are not serious about this entire issue, its total political hogwash stunt. Voters can see it and I hope they get spanked at the polls because of it, again!
