I have no interest in sleeping with a man that has had, and enjoys, sexual interactions with a penis (outside of his own).  The mental visual of that grosses me out and I would have strong concerns about his sexual health.

This has happen as well as references from a TS provider and a few others that aren't like me.  As long as I can verify they are legit, currently active and established I'll take a reference from them with no judgments.

Regardless of what genre a reference fits into, I always verify them before contacting them.

For me to accept any reference, I have to be able to tell that the provider is actually a real provider and not some mock-up ad. And that's generally pretty easy here in TER-land...

Male escorts, however, are *usually* not as well established as female escorts. What I mean is, while many of us here have some reviews, and we also have our own websites, a lot of male escorts just have an ad (reviews are not as pervasive for male escorts and on the whole, they haven't made the migration to hosting their own site).

Yes, there are scores of men (mostly porn stars) who have sites of their own - but on the whole... its a slightly different industry. And just having an ad doesn't mean that the fellow isn't a real provider - but from my end, it can be hard to discern who's real and who isn't. Though having a site also doesn't mean that someone *is* reputable and reliable, either.  

So while it wouldn't make me feel any which way to have a male escort as a reference, except of course that it would make me curious to said gent's interest in some MMF action (which I love), it would make me wonder if this reference were reputable and reliable. In the end, that's what it comes down to. And sometimes, web presence (and a quick phone call maybe) is all we can go on to tell if someone is actually a provider or not.

That said, my favorite male doubles partner, JP (who you can find pictured on my site) is UTR and doesn't run ads. So it would be hard to use him as a reference even though he's as responsible and professional as they come.

At first, I thought it was a joke. Now I have a great guy to do doubles with! So to answer your question directly, I guess my reaction is just the same as it would be if your reference was female. Personally, as long as we are playing safe it doesn't matter much who you've seen before me. Especially if you are open to conversation! Lol.
