Quad not only are you wrong about the polls, it's the beginning of the end for Trump.

A slate of recently released surveys all show Clinton ahead of Trump, although her edge ranges from 2 percentage points in an online Morning Consult poll to 9 points in a phone survey from the American Research Group.

The results of three other polls fall in the middle: Phone surveys from CNN/ORC and Monmouth University show Clinton up by 5 and 7 points, respectively, while NBC/SurveyMonkey’s online tracking poll gives her a 6-point lead.

Also Trump and some of his supporters are thugs too!

The primary season has ended, and Hillary Clinton is heading into the general election with a clear lead over Donald Trump, new national polling shows.
   
      If I admitted  I support Mr. Trump when I'm called on a land line poll inquiring on  the Presidential race, I'd risk some crazy brown shirt Hillary supporter killing my dogs or vandalizing my property when I'm not at home.  
   
          You won't find the truth in  2016 Presidential polls or the Huff & Puff where Mr. Trump is concerned.

If Trump were ahead in the polls, he'd be singing a different tune.

As for the election, gonna be closer than you think ( even the HRC campaign admits this ) so best for my fellow progressives not to get cocky. There's still a slim chance that he could win this thing.

so turnabout is fair play.  

I do find it VERY interesting that there is now a betting line for both the GOP nomination and for POTUS on Paul Ryan, long odds to be sure, he is 100-1 to become POTUS, but odds none the less. His odds for the GOP nod are actually not that long at 16-1.  

Not to be outdone by the GOP of course, both Biden and Sanders are still getting betting action for POTUS as the sword hanging over Hillary's head hasn't appeared to have gone anywhere.

As for the GE, I have said all along that Trump has a "punchers chance" of winning, but IMHO he needs to stop pandering to the religious nut jobs that will NEVER vote for Hillary and start hitting Hillary where she is vulnerable, which is NOT some kind of imagined "lack of religious faith" but the FACTS that not only is she highly unlikeable, but a thousand times as dishonest and untrustworthy than her husband.  

and yes, he needs to stop calling American born citizens and judges "Mexican"

There are complicating factors to this: if that's a result of a contested convention where Trump is dumped, that's highly problematic. He has a much better shot of beating her in 2020, IF she wins. I've always seen her as a 1 termer.

As for Trump, the one thing that has to be relentlessly emphasized is that good chance that he's not a billionaire. I agree with Cuban on this. At least he doesn't have a billion in liquid assets. Why doesn't he just funnel in 100 mill to his campaign, beating Hilll's 92 million war chest ? As I said earlier, rhetorical question.

Our country should be ashamed of this mob mentality behavior, but Trump has some responsibility for his antagonistic retorts that he includes every time he speaks, although even that is no excuse for violent behavior.
